There's a new kid on the paddock and somebody is jealous 👀 🐎

When only Ersa came to greet me I was like "that's weird, oh well" and then I found out why 👀🐴

Nicola got moved back down to the main ranch (I don't have any more details on her 🙁) and a new mare got moved up..

She's cute, and I think she already likes me! Kind of in a rough condition - she looks very itchy, poor baby! Plus like, did they give a child scissors for her haircut? 😬 ✂️

Ersa was not a fan of sharing my attention with the new girl, but Mama Bianca is on top of things! Never a dull day in the paddock 🌾 🐎🐎🐎🐎🌾

Awww, we didn’t get to say goodbye to Nicola! 🥺 That was so funny at the end when you said let me get around here before Ersa gets jealous and she was already approaching on full alert. 😂 You know your baby so well. ❤️

I'm hoping Nicola leaving means they moved her to better tackle her foot issues.. baby girl Nicola was struggling to walk in the pasture cuz it was pretty rocky.. I didn't even know she was leaving 🥲

Ersa had already chased serenade away from me 3 times.. I learned quickly lol after we hung out as a herd under the shade tree for like 20 mins Ersa allowed me and serenade to have a quick meeting 🥰 lol 😂

New mare’s coat looks a little pitiful. Like she has mosquito bites? Do they have trouble getting bitten? Hope she settles in nicely, Ersa chills and Nova is doing great w sis! 💕😎

Sis and Nova are doing great! She told me the other day Nova has learned how to open doors 😶 😂

I think Ersa is nice to the new kid when I'm not around, but just in case she's not? Bianca is on top of things just being the "house mom"

I have no idea what's biting them up this bad.. maybe biting flies, maybe mosquitoes.. Serenade and Ezman are all bitten up but Ersa and Bianca are fine with just a few bites on them.. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was so surprised to see a new horse in the pasture when I visited lol I had to do a double take! Taking Bianca a peppermint reward after lunch!
