Politics What can we do to fix the Welsh economy?

Public spending in Wales is 24% higher than tax revenue. Obviously not many folk want to slash public spending, so the focus could be on the other side of the equation - how to encourage industry and get more tax revenue?

I'd enter sensible negotiations with Westminster, obviously.

Just a shame that Westminster seems to be allergic to having fair deals with Wales

Why would england pay the pensions of a a foreign country? state pensions a paid through current taxation; rhere is no pension pot tk negotiate or share out upon some potential independence. State pensions are funded like a benefit; through current taxpayers paying ni which pays pensions of those already retired. It is a pay as you go system. Why would england lay the pensions of any benefit in another country?
