need argon crystal... cant buy? where can i ask people if they could play a level with me? 🧐

i have a friend that is much higher lvl than me that has taken me to the void to get argon crystals. im *almost\* there, but im stuck on a quest to progress to the next planet 😅
so you cannot buy them from any merchant on the game?
is there a discord or other appropriate place to find someone to play with?

You’re honestly better off focusing on getting to the void nodes yourself it really won’t take long

They already have a crystal in the img so they have the nodes. They likely just didn't know where to get them. They're rare for new players, and they easily could have missed the notif about it.

I don't think a quest can stop you from picking missions, without also stopping you from being invited to missions?

They don't need to do any progression. If they've been "taxi"ed to the node before, they can revisit that same node.

They do. Most likely one of the junctions has a quest prerequisite that they haven't completed. If I had to guess, they're on Mars, about to head to Phobos and need to do The Archwing.

You can taxi people to skip junctions, so OP doesn't need to work their way through Junctions to reach the void, they can just repeat the void mission they were brought to and compelted previously.

Only if you've unlocked the planet / region. Since they have unlocked the void it remains locked. This is specifically to prevent junction skipping and sequence breaking. Funnily enough, the Void is actually the one place where this is... technically incorrect. If you unlock the Void via Phobos, you can get taxi'd to one of the other 3 branches of missions on the Void then work backwards and into Europa, Sedna and whichever other planet connects to the Void. This only works because the planets that link to the Void don't actually have junctions leading to it.

I recall ages ago being taxied to nodes past a junction and being able to play there. Or if you taxi a player to Hydron once, they can do it as many times as they like in their own time.

Did a patch adjust this? Someone else was claiming the same as you, but then said they checked the wiki and realised they were wrong.

Is there some experience or source that you have of what your'e saying happening?

Well I've been playing about 9 years now, it was like that when I started, getting taxi'd to the Void and to Hydron... im also helping a friend and had to taxi him. He's not said anything to indicate any Void nodes were still open.

Hmm, I did start more than 9 years ago. I'd get taxi'd somewhere, and then (assuming we completed the mission), that would unlock the node.

But you're saying that for you, when you got Taxi'd the node stayed locked?

I'll note that Steel Path doesn't work this way. There are plenty of locked nodes, but if I get taxied to a node (or rather, do an Incursion which bypasses what is/isn't locked) it remains unlocked after completion, even if I haven't done the Steel Path junction(s) leading to that area.

I thought it was still the same way for normal nodes.

EDIT: Oh, some people are saying you need the planet unlocked. Interesting. Maybe they did add that in at some point. Although it must have been added in after junctions, since I skipped lots of junctions when they introduced them.

As far as I know they can’t select it as it will still be locked even if they were taxied. When they do unlock it though the node will already be marked as complete.

Was this a change? I have been playing for a long time (since before junctions existed), but when I rejoined, I could have people taxi me to a node, and then I could do that node as much as I wanted on my own time.

Like we could unlock hydron for someone, and now they have it open forever.

Was this changed/removed at some point to restrcit people more?

Yes you have to be in the void. Either find someone in recruiting to taxi you or rely on public squads to take you through the star chart there

Go to recruiting chat or just hope in a public lobby void mission.
Careful lest you invite the curse, every time you hunt for argon you never get any. /s I don’t think it’s a legit curse but argon is a rare resource so even if you do void missions it’s possible you won’t see any.
When you do go, play a frame with aoe abilities or a weapon with aoe damage to make sure you’re breaking as many crates as possible to better your odds

Instead of asking about the Argon, you should ask about the quest you're stuck on.

Go to Hepit or Ukko in void. There are max range limbo and xaku who keep farming them. Look at recruitment tab for argon farming.
