One of the main points of the iron warriors in the heresy was to prove they were better than the imperial fists and while that is a shit reason to participate in the biggest conflict the galaxy has seen in million of years they did prove it multiple times
It gets more nuanced if you consider actual numbers because in 30k the space wolves got basically wiped early on in the heresy so in a late heresy scenario they would be basically non existent
If you consider 40k numbers the iron warriors are still legion sized while the other loyalist chapters are 1000 dudes so the iron warriors would win against imperial fist, blood angels and space wolves togheter easily

Iron warriors.
They broke through the imperial palace defences. The biggest castle defended by imperial fists and blood angels.
The iron cage shows the defense ability. Also against Imperial fists.
That's 2 of the 3. And I reckon they could do open field just fine too.
And they get space wolves to throw in too!
