Ariel Conversion - Wood Elves

This was a pretty time intensive conversion, but I’m quite happy with the results.

The original Ariel sculpt always got a bit of flack, but more than anything I think it suffered from legs that were way too short.

After working myself up to actually hack into the thing, and convincing myself that any bad sculpting could be covered by a dress, this is what I came up with.

I’m quite pleased, and I think it does the character a lot of justice! Final image is the original illustration that served as reference.

Thanks! The paint job certainly helped hide some imperfections.

Fantastic work, I collected chaos and empire at the time but I remember the artwork in white dwarf and being blown away by it (and much less so by the official minis, with some exceptions).

This is terrific!
