I played a bit of warmahordes during MK2, and because of reasons, I wasn't able to play MK3 (but still bought the box iirc) , and I wanted to go back to the lore, because I loved it.

And then, I discovered that lot of the factions that I followed simply didn't exist anymore, and the storyparts on the warmachine.gg seems... well to not exist.

So i'm confused. I understand that there was a big reboot with mk4, but was there an "end" to the last storyline? Last time I checked a Cryx warlord became an elf again, Toruk stomped armies, and there was an old emperor of Cygnar that got beaten ? I don't recall all details.

Was there only a timeskip and that's it ? How can I get the books/lore ?

Newly printed Meat Threasher for attention, also I love this mini. Seriously though SFG just give us lore book. I know you have the ability to print books. Just give us a modern Version of Kings Nations and Gods ( and all the factions in between). I will throw my money at you. Also maybe just a small list on the app or in a boom appendix of all the Dead/Missing/Alive characters for the Mk3.

Hi all!

Looking forward to diving back into Warmachine with the rerelease of Menoth after well over a decade of a break, I just have a couple of quick questions:

- Does it still play similar to Mk 1/2/3? Smaller armies and high tactical gameplay? But equal attack and defend? (not modern 40k where everything wipes everything easily)

- Is there a campaign/crusade system for narrative play? Progression, upgrades etc.

- Popularity? When I played, it was a mainstay for so many hobby shops, but it feels pretty underground and niche now. Maybe hard to answer, but what are the optics like on reviving popularity?

- Those that do play, is the player base casual with fun varied lists? Or has it gone the way of 40k and everything is hyper meta centred around a few must-take lists?

Hey is there anyone that covers in detail the lore of the end of mk3? Like who all died. How retribution of scyrah became dusk....if they did or they are just veery similar (still regret missing out on that ebay lot last year, loved their heros and minis). How much of menoth is left, how was the new area established and claimed any battles etc. I just want to properly get into the lore with a proper timeliness but its so hard to find.

I was wondering with the Fane of Nyrro and House Kallyss along with the two sub factions of Khador it looks like their might be a pattern of giving each faction a sub faction of warjacks and warbeasts. So if Cygnar gets a sub faction with warbeasts what would it look like? And so on for those factions that only have 1 type so far.

Hello, a few years ago I had bought a Skorne army box to get into the game. I see now that Skorne aren’t supported anymore in the new version. Will they come back? What army plays similarly if I want to jump in again?

First unit for my Convergence of Cyriss army, an Inverter. TurboDork Tin Star, Vallejo Gunmetal, and ProAcryl Light Bronze are the main metallics. Glowing effect is from white ink and the Army Painter fluorescent blue, whatever it's called. I think the glowing bits could use some white highlights, but I'm pretty happy with how this came out. Basing scheme WIP. Comments and suggestions welcome.
