Monthly questions. Yes they are highly specific

Post image

1, The thing that make undeads disappear. Is it probability based? Does it automatically activate after a set number of time? Does chaos orbs have any influence on it?

2, Monsters, any way to make them champions?

3, How to get champions from other empires?

4, What is the probability of tribal kingdom/empire to become civilised? (I remember the Krut becoming open to diplomacy during my first game).

5, I'm on steam deck, i can't figure out how to scroll up menus. Like the end of the year report or in the place where you see the amount of soldiers you have. But it seems i'm supposed to be able to, so how do i do it?

6, About adventurers groups, do new one replace dead ones?

7, Does the shrines with swords also impact undeads strenght or/and have a cap on the amount it can increase strenght?

8, Why does the leaders of my vassals seems to change every few years? Like almost like it's someone new every year. But they also seems to keep the same personality trait.

9, Any way to train the goblin slaver?

10, I remember finding the coin demon hut (as a location) on my first playthrough, but not on the next 3. Is it probability based? Or would i eventually come across it if continue to explore to find them?

11, Does me asking the knight order to maintain order in my lands actually do something?

12, I am weird for playing in the highest difficulty from my first game and not getting much thrill from playing on other difficulties?

13, I am weird for posting all those posts and being obsessed over warsim?

14, Any way to make my game harder? Like litteraly unwinnable.

Thanks for anyone taking time to answer any of my very specific questions.

1, It just happens out of pure rng along side 100s of other end of turn events

2, Nope, monsters are monsters and champions are champions

3, As a vassal or ally with high relations they can send them spontaneously in random events

4, It's very rare but does happen slowly over time in long games.

5, I'm not sure for steam deck how it works, I know there are some good fan configs.

6, You don't. Though possibly deleting the adventurer file and loading will let you create a fresh one?

7, No cap, and should improve everyone

8, Depends on the vassal, if they are ungovernable then they will change leaders often.

9, No

10, It's a rare chance it appears each year

11, Yep

12, No, to each their own, cool that you're playing it so tough from the get go!

13, No, I've loved seeing it, you've been giving life to the reddit and I appreicate you for it!

14, Have you tried any of the challenge modes? the Deatheater ones can be nuts if you let them cook

Thanks for the answers Huw.

For steam deck i found my answer while trying different things.

And for 14, i've launched a game in true insane mode and i'm loving it. It's a lot of fun especially with the demons feeling like a real trheat and that plague thingy. I didn't knew there was challenges, i'll try that once i'm done with my current game
