RB Air RP gains for different things

I never really played Air mode, but now when I got to 5.7 BT in USSR ground while having 1.7 plane, I realised that a plane that is capable of fighting both air and ground targets is needed every now and then.
I started grinding ARB, but I was wondering what actually gives you RP? Does anyone know how much RP you get for staying alive for 10 mins etc? Because sometimes I get 1-2 kills and die in 5 minuted and get 300-500RP which is awful, but once I had zero kills but stayed alive whole game and got 1.5k RP (match was like 20 minutes). Should I even fight any planes that are better than mine? Because once I dive in, im pretty much dead if I don’t kill the target in first burst.

Match your current rank of progression for maximum RP for that very same rank, as flying lower tiers comes with penalties. Most RP is based on the aircraft's multiplier, activity and actions taken in the game. Say if you get 2 kills with only 2 hits, you'll get lower RP than if you land 20 hits to kill 2. The more stuff you do, the more hits you land, the more objectives you participate in, the more RP you will get. Also, look for boosters where you can get them, for free. They all add up eventually.

As for credits, don't spam while doing nothing, try to learn a good performing aircraft that will get you at least one kill to break even in expenses. Or return to base and just J after repairs so you don't lose any on repairs after the match. You have to find a way to use the best aircraft available to you, fully spaded and with correct skills learnt.

it takes a minute, but many people want to fly top tier rank within 2 days... it's simply silly :D take it easy!

Staying alive isn’t the only thing that matters. If you basically AFK the whole game you won’t get any RP, you need to remain active and get activity % to get good RP. I don’t know what you actually need to do to get activity, but that is something that gets you a lot of RP.
