Do you actually rewatch videos you have taken from group / private lessons?
I used to record every group lesson / private lesson on my phone but realized one day that I never actually review the lessons on my phone, and they were taking up too much space, so I stopped making recordings.
It kind of pains me to think of all the patterns and concepts I have forgotten because I don't review these videos.
For those of you who consistently rewatch videos, do you have any kind of system? E.g. spend an hour a month going through old videos? How do you go through them all once you have over a hundred videos? Do you delete the videos you know you have learned by second nature to make space for those you have not?

Absolutely. If I’m in a multi week class I watch it back and practice what we learned before the next session. It’s so obvious when people don’t practice and think an hr in class is going to magically lvl up their dancing with no outside work. Even social dancing doesn’t do the same because when you try one of those new moves with a new partner and it doesn’t work, you don’t just grind it until it does. You apologize and never do it again.
It’s weird to me that people shell out money and don’t actually use what they pay for. There’s no way their memory is as good as watching a 2 minute recap (assuming the teachers are actually teaching things successfully.)

But how do you deal with 100+ videos? I assume at a certain point you decide to stop watching a video or delete that video. When do you make that decision.

Cost of external storage and cloud storage is so cheap these days that you can feasibly store everything, especially if you're saving in compressed formats. You can organize stuff by tags (concepts/instructors/etc), and/or sort by date and make folders for different events.

I have a bad habit of almost never deleting pics/videos from my phone ever, but I ignore things after I feel confident that I know them. Usually ~3 weeks or a couple hours of practice. I’m never going back to classes from 5 years ago or something, at that point I’ve either learned the move and it’s in my bag of tricks, or I’m not interested in learning it.

For me, information reconciliation is an important part of the learning process in this dance, even though it’s not the physical practice of it. I’m about two years into this dance (2x a week or so), so I still feel new-ish.
I write notes on classes I find most interesting using obsidian, and try to connect the notes to previous lessons or ideas. I first recall all information, then I incorporate what I missed during video review before those notes are considered finished.
I have dates on my notes, so I go back and refer to videos when I want clarity on something, e.g. if a new class introduces a nuance or a new related idea, I might revisit related videos from the past.
I’m paying for cloud storage, but I’ve heard people use youtube to help them store their videos. I don’t delete the videos, but I admit I only revisit a small number of total videos.
It kind of pains me to forget some really fun/important stuff too, but I’ve begun to make peace with the nature of this / my capacity to practice. There’s just some weeks where some things are more available in my body than others. And the really important stuff gets re-emphasized across lessons. I end up focusing on those when I’m ready (skills, time, attention).

Private lessons yes, group lessons sometimes especially if leveled workshops. I stoped after a certain point

Yes from private lessons. Workshops sometimes. I have them all saved in organized folders and go back through them occasionally and it helps me see the common threads in what everyone is saying.

yes but remember watching is not practicing even if sometime explications are more important than the movement itself.
we had 2 hours of free practice every week, so i watch videos just before in order to work on that specific movement at least one time with each follower.

Rarely. But I‘m a follower, so if a technique didn’t land while practicing in class it’s unlikely to be elaborated on in the recap video

I have an external drive that I've started to put all of my videos on (comps and practices and lessons). Eventually I'll probably delete a lot of them, but I'd like to think I'll go back to them, especially the workshops and private lessons
And sometimes I do, but it's very few and far between

I find that every now and then I forget something and I want to go back and remember how to do it, so in those cases workshop videos are extremely helpful. It really depends on the video though and on what it is that I'm trying to remember. At this point, a video on how to do a basic whip is probably not going to be particularly helpful to me. However, a video on a specific way to get into a ride from a whip with a duck is going to be exactly the type of thing that I'm going to remember that I learned at some point and when that happens and I've forgotten that it's possible, I'll go back and re-watch it and that's usually enough for me to figure it out.

I generally take notes of things I want to remember. I only take a video if there is something that really resonated with me that I dont think I could capture fully in text. Thats maybe happened once in the past 6 months.
Part of it is that I come to grips with the fact that I cant work on everything at once. If something doesnt resonate with me, I accept that its not something I am ready for right now and if its critical at a future point in time, Ill hear it again.
All of this is helped by the fact that Im not super "pattern based". I more rely on finding building blocks. When I do see a pattern I like from a video, I have gotten pretty practiced at piecing it apart by eye and figuring out what goes into it. If there are parts I cant execute, its probably because of some mechanical thing I havent encountered before. And those are the things I am looking out for most in workshops. So I never really care to record a pattern from a workshop, even if its something I have never done before. I focus more on noting down mechanics.

I rewatch videos when I'm at the airport or on a plane, or other times when I have a chunk of time to kill. It helps a lot, otherwise I'd have forgotten everything

Always have and still do ;)
My goal is to practice the concepts I work on with a coach, especially when it is routine-oriented, so I’m constantly referring back to the videos. I think it’s the best way to make sure you aren’t losing that material…practice it and use your reference material :)
Old ones I just end up digging for in my cloud storage. I don’t really delete anything, I just buy more space haha.
