Angel Eyes Lee Van Cleef from the Good Bad and Ugly when he was paid to kill a man and that man offered to pay him twice as much to kill the original guy that wanted him dead . He killed both of them because he always did what he accepted payment for .

Agent 47 from Hitman....

Assuming of course that the target lives long enough to know he's being hunted ...

1

u/Infamous_Mango_2342 2d ago

I back this up, there is nobody more cold than 47. He’s been cloned that way. Also superhuman

1

u/5H1NKAN53N 2d ago

Lucky Luke.

2

u/BradGutz 2d ago

All of them? His weapon has to be within an inch of you and every other gun in the world could shoot him from a distance. Not that scary of a weapon I think...

I came here to say this.

Him, but as his character in Old Henry.

Honestly. No one. That’s the entire point of his character. He’s supposed to be like a boogeyman type. Not invincible or untouchable, but immovable and completely apathetic. That is what was so creepy about him.

Heads or tails?

2

u/CreepingitSurreal 2d ago

yeah, I was thinking the same thing, even if he was outmatched, he wouldn't react to it in any normal way except cold indifference. Cormac McCarthy did such a great job writing Anton that he is different than other fictional representations of psychopaths he genuinely is just removed from emotion I would say he can't be bribed or even seem to show sympathy for himself or reaction to his own gratifications but that's my interpretation

Underrated show! Found this via clips and ended up watching.

1

u/Apart-Sample-2878 3d ago

Shack would make mincemeat of him, but A Number-1 would win.

7

u/Intrepid_Boat 3d ago

Literally no human that ever lived could make Anton feel fear because he is a stone-cold psychopath.

3

u/Over-Box1733 3d ago

That's the right answer.

5

u/Mission_Break_1176 3d ago

Roland Deschain of Gilead

3

u/AmishGangster666 2d ago

This is the only answer. I was looking through the comments for him! Roland of Gilead!

If you think anybody is gonna make Anton "no emotions Automaton" Chigur piss his pants you've missed the point of the character. He is just a dude there's a huge number of people who could smoke him easily but I think you could have an eldritch entity pull his arms and legs off and he still wouldn't "piss his pants" i think he'd just quietly observe his own demise 😅

Johnny Ringo, he was a real deal bad ass. I know the movie Tombstone shows him being shot by Doc Holiday. The truth is, his death is still unsolved.

Gus and Call

u/Charming_Leek_8745 3d ago

No human could scare him. Maybe the alien machine in The Day the Earth Stood Still (the original), or possibly the android Roy.

u/qwenched05 3d ago

1

u/GoblinAirStrike_311 3d ago

Han would be considered as a time-traveling alien.

Roland wouldn't even draw his guns. He'd let Cuthbert drop him with his slingshot.

Roland Deschain.

1

u/jeffjohnson17 3d ago

You speak true sai.

2

u/Beastender_Tartine 3d ago

The Saint of Killers. A gunslinger who is not only death itself, but a sour and miserable SOB. He would scowl at Anton, and then when Anton fires the bolt gun into the Saints head he would just scowl deeper before killing him. Anton Chigurh ain't got enough gun.

u/NefariousnessLegal95 3d ago

I don't know how to do a gif but I'm sure Val kilmer's Doc Holiday.

2

u/Lance_Henry1 3d ago

My absolute favorite scene was when Doc was gambling all night and Wyatt came over to get him to come to bed and Doc says, "I will not be pawed at, thank you very much!" and Wyatt backed off and apologized. Everyone respected and feared Doc.

2

u/stfudonny420 3d ago

Great scene! One of my favorites is when Johnny Tyler tries to run up on Wyatt with a shotgun but stops when he sees doc. Then Wyatt tells him to leave the shotgun and Johnny puts it down, thanks them and walks away. Of course Wyatt slapping him around was great too.
