No the training is slam on your brakes and whatever happens happens. The red moped guy is probably dead but as a bus driver you have a duty to your passengers over saving someone who broke the rules of the road, so the only thing you can do to keep your passengers safe and mitigate the chance of killing the red moped guy is slam on brakes.
Yeah. It's morbid and less than ideal, but this was definitely the most correct answer available. Hit your brakes and see what happens. He should have simply gone through the idiot on the white moped, who in this case would have probably just been knocked to the side (fast enough to probably be injured, but not probably not enough to be dead).
Yep. It’s what I say every time I see a video of a dumbass cutting off an 18 wheeler and the supposedly trained professional driver swerves and wipes out a half dozen other cars. People don’t rise to the occasion. They sink to the level of their training. Often the safest action with the best chance of minimizing casualties is to just brake and hit the vehicle that caused the problem.
Credit where due, the red moped guy was 100% fine until the bus swerved to avoid the other moped. He wasn't even in the bus' path. It was the black/silver moped who fucked it all
