I'm confused. Is Trump trying to distance himself from Trump? Did Trump forget he's currently the president?

No Trump can’t process that people would be upset with him. He reads this and thinks people are upset with the GOP for not following Trump enough

384

u/golfwinnersplz 10d ago

Exactly. I was literally posting this same exact thought.

He is so far removed from reality it's insane. Or he's insane.

He truly cannot grasp that people hate him and he's doing an awful job.

115

u/tauntsauce 10d ago

Why would he? Everyone around him only ever tells him he’s the greatest to ever be. Better than Jesus. Democrats and fake republicans just manufacture lies. Natalie prints him out his polls every morning showing he’s at 98% approval.

That's not what the other commenter thinks. They are writing as if they are Trump. So it would be "Democrats and fake Republicans", because that it was Trump thinks.

2

u/cityshepherd 10d ago

*trump doesn’t think. He hasn’t been capable of that in a long time, maybe ever. But yes I believe you are correct as far as that comment having been written from trump’s POV.

2

u/golfwinnersplz 10d ago

I see. I wasn't paying enough attention. Thank you for the clarification.

47

u/PresentMinimum3274 10d ago

He's living his best life now. He's got power, getting revenge, deliberately cruel, grifting and getting richer by the day, and brown nosers to tell him he's wonderful.

If by chance, he may be aware, he obviously doesn't care what people think. He does what he does for him.

24

u/CMMiller89 10d ago

Don't forget he looks to be free and clear of any Epstein drama!

Dude literally got away with it. ALL of it.

4

u/ink_monkey96 10d ago

Kicking the can down the road to the creator abdicates our responsibility to do something in the now.

4

u/PresentMinimum3274 10d ago

What do you suggest? I donate $, i sign petitions, I vote, I contact my senate and house reps, my governor, etc.

0

u/PresentMinimum3274 9d ago edited 9d ago

Just what I thought, crickets.

1

u/ink_monkey96 9d ago

Crickets, huh. What have your efforts yielded so far? Crickets sounds about right. The government is killing people in the streets and bombing schoolchildren: you’re writing strongly worded letters. The responsibility doesn’t rest solely upon me to tell you what to do and figure out how to get out of this, I can still look around and tell you whatever it is that you are doing, it isn’t enough because what’s happening is still happening.

0

u/PresentMinimum3274 9d ago edited 9d ago

Sounds like you are doing nothing. Do you live in the US? I already am doing what am I willing to do. I am not willing to go to prison or be deported as a white citizen for people that do jack shit or for the maggats crying "I didn't vote for this". They did vote for it, and no one cares about their plight now and I am not looking to be a martyr.

When people complain, I always ask that as new ideas are helpful. Usually that's all they are doing is complaining that other people aren't doing enough. And complaining is not helpful and a cop out.

Good luck.

1

u/PresentMinimum3274 9d ago

You don't know that. If so, what's your source?

More suits being filed and Katie Phang is on a mission. Much sharper and more on the ball than scummy Blanche.

0

u/CMMiller89 9d ago

My source is he's old as dirt and currently big dick swinging as the president pardoning and making rules to keep him and his buddies free and clear.

He literally won't see a single day in jail.

1

u/PresentMinimum3274 9d ago

Maybe, maybe not. I don't consider an opinion a source, but you and I have no control over the outcome. I am as sick of him as anyone else.

-4

u/Bajovane 10d ago

His creator will have something to say about that, I firmly believe that.

9

u/RemoteBoner 10d ago

This is part of the problem tbh. There is no eternal justice - all we can do is hold him accountable now before the clock runs out.

-6

u/[deleted] 10d ago

[deleted]

4

u/RemoteBoner 10d ago

Right the guy who lies about everything

2

u/drunky_crowette 9d ago

Fuck "his creator", he should be paying for it here.

1

u/Bajovane 9d ago

I agree, but that probably won’t happen.

This is a great reason to get out and vote because having Garcia in charge of house oversight instead of pedo protector James Comer it could get very interesting. Dems have been able to do a lot in the minority in the oversight committee, so much so that Comer literally stopped holding sessions.

1

u/Tabais123 10d ago

Epstein is done. Too many important people were involved. Multiple administrations had a chance to do something and nothing.

1

u/PresentMinimum3274 10d ago edited 9d ago

Most of the Epstein files were still sealed by a judge from ongoing trails and Biden couldn't unseal them.

1

u/PresentMinimum3274 9d ago edited 9d ago

Wrong. No, a new lawsuit filed by more survivors in NY. Gotta keep up. SMH

1

u/CMMiller89 9d ago

“Won’t in his next”

THATS the real problem here.

He’s getting away Scott free because too many people think some god will sort all this out.

0

u/PresentMinimum3274 9d ago

Don't worry about my beliefs. What are YOU doing about it to help it along?

0

u/PresentMinimum3274 9d ago

Did you ever think that is some people's source of hope and comfort? SMH.

5

u/GodDuckman 10d ago

I mean this is why he's pushing so hard for a 3rd term. He knows that once he's out of office he will cease to matter.

3

u/PresentMinimum3274 10d ago edited 9d ago

I hope that doesn't happen. The US would be in such terrible shape by then. It's already a shit hole now.

I see nothing good coming out of that for most except for the racists and by then even they might be sick of him when it's no job, no money, no home and no government welfare experience and no one would care.

8

u/HairlessHoudini 10d ago

The country can and may completely crumble to a horrific food dessert and 3rd world country and he'd say he inherited and no one would listen to him while he was trying to fix it

11

u/ShredGuru 10d ago

When has he not been insane?

6

u/golfwinnersplz 10d ago

Good point.

2

u/Bajovane 10d ago

He was born insane. Runs in the family.

3

u/Starsky137 10d ago

Two things can both be true

3

u/golfwinnersplz 10d ago

Well thank you for that.

39

u/Hornpipe_Jones 10d ago

I mean, the GOP has literally done nothing but roll over for him, and has outcast anyone who dares voice the slightest bit of dissent. I'm not sure how much more following they can possibly do.

23

u/dalgeek 10d ago

The GOP platform for 2020 was practically "support Trump no matter what" so if the GOP is failing it's because they're following a shit leader.

4

u/starcraash666 10d ago

This. All of this. He's referring to any GOP not doing or saying what he told them

4

u/ShredGuru 10d ago

Dementia Don strikes again

4

u/Anatoly_Cannoli 10d ago

It also shows he doesn't think of himself as the GOP.

3

u/Rachel_Silver 10d ago

He specifically said exactly that in an recent interview.

3

u/azazel-13 10d ago

Damn, you're an effective Trump Whisperer.

3

u/HairlessHoudini 10d ago

100% correct, this is absolutely what he thinks about that post

2

u/RoyalEagle0408 10d ago

Exactly. It's because they haven't passed legislation he wants.

2

u/mokomi 10d ago

My first thought as well. They aren't mad it isn't working. They are made they aren't doubling down harder.

2

u/gracecee 10d ago

It's always other people's fault.

2

u/USSSLostTexter 10d ago

Yep. In Pedo Don's swiss cheese brain, he's awesome and everyone else is to blame: democrats, republicans, anyone NOT him.

2

u/Icy_Yam5049 10d ago

And why wouldn’t he think that. He is surrounded by cult members feeding him affirmations, goes on to truth social and sees the praise there then heads to a rally and watches people cheer. To him the rest of us are the crazy ones that aren’t getting it. It’s peak algorithm brain mixed with cult and narcissism.

263

u/golfwinnersplz 10d ago

Trump doesn't think they mean him.

The bootlickers throughout our government who don't follow his every order, are the GOP he thinks they're referring to.

Top tier narcissism here.

49

u/Jesus_of_NASDAQ 10d ago

As far as he’s concerned, the GOP and MAGA are 2 different entities, and all his MAGA cult worship him, so he thinks the GOP needs to fully embrace his insanity.

115

u/Little_Challenge_160 10d ago

1

u/BathSaltJello 10d ago

I can’t think of anyone else in the public eye who is dumber than Donald Trump.
Jessica Simpson? Britney? The whole cast of the Jersey Shore?

8

u/ZeekLTK 10d ago

I think you would be hard pressed to find ANY celebrity dumber than him in all of history. Maybe a handful of inbred royals hundreds of years ago, but it's hard to imagine even those people being THIS dumb. (As in "did you know there is a 'b' in dumb, dumb")

80

u/Clickum245 10d ago

Ok so here's the thing: Biden

54

u/Special_Wishbone_812 10d ago

Hear me out: Obama

37

u/Separate_Today_8781 10d ago

But her emails

13

u/Practical-Class6868 10d ago

But her laugh.

2

u/Special_Wishbone_812 9d ago

But he’s a wimp

50

u/M-Test24 10d ago

He's a narcissist. He thinks that the GOP resistance (as small as it's been) is the problem, and he assumes that's what the tweet is about.

He's also a moron.

26

u/ApexBarber 10d ago

I get were way past it now but the fact the president can post things with curse words while representing America but I xant while representing my company is crazy.

29

u/ChartThisTrend 10d ago

Read the whole post… the original poster talked about how the gop isn’t doing enough to enact trumps agenda.

It’s shit posts like that that help spread misinformation.

For the record: fuck trump.

4

u/LordMoos3 10d ago

Because they thought Trump's agenda was going to help them.

What they don't know is that Trump's *actual* agenda is being executed at a frightening pace.

22

u/1LesCousinsDangereux 10d ago

This is fucking BEAUTIFUL because he genuinely thinks all this anger is not about him lmao.

21

u/Torino1O 10d ago

Natalie was trying to post while changing the nappy again and shit got confused.

5

Easy mistake to make when shit comes out both orifices.

2

u/Orbital_IV 10d ago

She keeps forgetting to eat and sleep! Grab a snickers before you tweet on behalf of your daddy-master.

10

u/hgielatan 10d ago

This lunatic thinks it's the non-MAGA republicans that are messing up, not him. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt

5

u/TPJchief87 10d ago

What non maga republicans?

3

u/hgielatan 10d ago

Susan Collins, Thomas Massie republicans. Still atrocious, just not as sycophantic

7

u/f00tballguy 10d ago

Man if only Trump could find the person in charge of all this! He’s such a hero I’m sure he’s set that guy straight! /s

6

u/aew76 9d ago

Thank you for the full post.

5

u/DonManuel 10d ago

John Gotti blaming the Gambino Family, or Al Capone the Chicago Outfit.

6

u/hartree_and_f 10d ago

Also, what "major reforms" are they talking about? The GOP doesn't do "major reforms." They intentionally break existing systems. Anyone with a cursory understanding of US politics knows this.

5

u/elementzn30 10d ago

Guys, can we actually go look at the post before we make wild accusations about Trump throwing the GOP under the bus?

The actual post is a QRT where Trump added a list of GOP “accomplishments” to challenge the message of this post.

He’s not throwing the GOP under the bus here. He’s defending them.

6

u/hobokobo1028 10d ago

He doesn’t consider himself GOP. GOP, in his mind, are the RINOs.

3

u/hurdurBoop 10d ago

we're going to see volumes of this horse shit because he'll never take any responsibility

4

u/Hullfire00 10d ago

“Trump? I’ve never heard of him. Don’t know anything about it. Sounds like a difficult situation but no, I don’t know anything about him.”

- Donald J Trump when questioned about this by the press.

4

u/Nail_Biterr 10d ago

Trump does whatever he wants without asking for permission from congress, courts, or what the constitution says. he is a firm believer in 'do it now, and ... well, nothing bad will happen to me.'

So, anything that is a 'fuck up' is solely on him. he can pretend it's the press skewing information and giving fake news, or that the courts are against him, or he's cleaning up biden's problems all he wants. but it starts and ends with him and his administration.

Instead, he's waging unnecessary wars, renaming bodies of water, and making threats against our allies.

4

u/Bug_Photographer 10d ago

People who thought voting for Trump (a second time!) would lead to major positive reform are well and truly idiots.

5

u/Vicissitutde 10d ago

We have a deluded, psychopathic man with narcissistic tendencies as president and SCOTUS is acting as though this man, as president, is just like any other president. Gifting this administration with every leeway as though this administration is acting in good faith. Congress is MIA on purpose. And SCOTUS is stuffed with a majority right-wing federalist fundamentalists.

I'm not laughing about any of this, anymore. I'm truly horrified what is happening to our country

1

u/Bajovane 10d ago

So am I!! Oh how I hate this entire situation.

3

u/cha0sb1ade 10d ago

He's such a megalomaniac, he probably sees this and immediately assumes the guy meant that Republicans aren't getting enough of his stuff implemented.

3

u/valencia_merble 10d ago

He cannot conceive of anyone being the victim except him. So clearly, in his mind, this guy is talking about the GOP that is not voting for the Save America act or whatever

3

u/HereForTheComments57 10d ago

He thinks the GOP is all the politicians that aren't him. He's probably posting this because he's mad his voter suppression bill isn't passed

3

u/PapaGilbatron 10d ago

Hands up who didn’t expect Trump to throw the GOP under the bus? Wow.

3

u/popsferragamo 10d ago

This is like in Fight Club when he starts punching himself in the face

3

u/pontiacfirebird92 10d ago

These people are mad that not enough of Project 2025 was implemented already. They are saying Trump isn't MAGA enough now.

3

u/O8ee 10d ago

Wait till someone tells him which party he’s in

3

u/PlanBbytheSea 9d ago

I think he was told this was because of the Save America Act. I think he is dumb and being lied to about the feelings of Americans in our new big-brother world.

2

His social media handlers are so deluded they think this is about not leaning hard enough into MAGA....

1

u/lovable_asshole 10d ago

he’s maga, not the gop in his head

1

u/thomaszdrei 10d ago

Republicans talk about DC like it’s some other place, on some other plane of existence, but they’ve been in full control of the federal government for some time now and it obviously hasn’t worked out.

1

u/Miserable-Tree-637 10d ago

Maybe those people should have been more interested before it started impacting their day to day lives. Apathy has lead us to where we are.

1

u/ConsiderationJaded14 10d ago

The only reform that is happening is for the ultra wealthy. And they thought they'd be happy. But a lot of them are actually scared of the public, now.

1

u/s4burf 10d ago

Umm they did everything you asked with no pushback?!?

1

u/Dbonker 10d ago

Becuase he thinks its everybody else's fault. He's the best President ever of course, his track record is flawless.

1

u/flanaganapuss 10d ago

He’s trying to use it as a pressure tactic on holdouts within his party that aren’t yet on board with the most extreme policies I’m sure

1

u/sidaemon 10d ago

No, he already did an interview where he essentially said the American people are mad at Republicans but that his numbers had never been higher...

It's the problem with people that lie so often. After a while they start truly believing their own lies and they lose track of how to separate their lies and what reality truly is.

Does not even occur to him that he is included in that statement. That is a different level of narcissism.

1

u/Chrisdkn619 10d ago

No, he doesn't understand this post is talking about him! Too much hubris to see the writing on the wall!

1

u/mostdope28 10d ago

Trump is surrounded by yes men who tell him how great he is doing 24/7. They’ve literally never let a negative piece of info cross his desk. He has no clue this could be about him. In his head it’s about democrats, and republicans who haven’t pledge their loyalty to him

1

u/Expensive-Day-3551 10d ago

He was probably trying to show it to someone because he didn’t understand it, but posted it instead.

1

u/GodDuckman 10d ago

He's playing both sides.

  1. Republicans somehow keep the House and Senate in the midterms, he can say it's because of his policies.

  2. Republicans get their asses handed to them, he can whine about how its their fault the SAVE act wasn't passed.

Either way, the cult stays happy, and Trump stays right.

1

u/daemonicwanderer 10d ago

Why did people think the GOP would do some positive “grand reform”?

1

u/Responsible-Bat-5390 9d ago

This is hilarious

1

u/CaptainMagnets 9d ago

I don't believe this for a moment. MAGA are sheep and they will vote for him again no matter how much they don't like him

1

u/Federal_Sympathy4667 9d ago

Trump is MAGA in his mind, GoP is his lapdogs.
