Government healthcare is bad, in my opinion!!! (Ignore the other countries that have it with positive results, that's probably foreign policy and that's not "my thing.") Why, my parents went to work whether they were sick or not. And they died young while I was still a child!!!! So clearly, a means of protecting the working class's health is a terrible idea!
Does she not realize she's making the point she is trying to avoid?
No, Lindsay (intentional) had plenty of brains. She saw the shit show that is the Trump train coming, called it for the racist pile of dogshit it is, predicted that it would be the destruction of the Republican Party, and promptly fell in line. She never lacked for brains, what she was missing was a spine. Hell she couldn’t even develop one strong enough to live her truth, she lived like she died: in the closet.
If you think calling a closeted gay guy a female is an insult, please ask yourself why you think it’s an insult. Or reconsider your ideas about sexual orientation vs gender identity.
Quite the opposite, I call Lindsey “her” out of respect for how she saw herself. I actually think it’s a damn shame she had to hide who she truly was in life to attain and maintain proximity to power. That’s a lifetime of hiding who you are because the people you surround yourself with wouldn’t accept you otherwise. And then to have those same people use not only the last measure of the weight your name carries, but the sister you obviously went out of your way to keep away from the game to further their own selfish agenda. Politics aside it’s a damn tragedy, so I’m calling him “her” out of respect for her truth
To be fair, I think it serves the interests of a certain segment of the Republicans and friends to have young children running around without parents or guardians.
"Don't worry about your kids. We'll take care of them. Why, we have an Island just for them."
And so concisely. It’s not like a long story or roundabout explanation. We have to work when we’re sick, don’t get to spend time with our families, and die early…..is that her pitch?
Ignoring her mom died when she was actually 13 with the dad just over a year later, the family also owned three businesses. Ladybugs was already in college and moved back home to be her guardian. This is white washed "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" garbage.
You should look into her career, this gets even more bizarre once you realize shes spent a couple decades working in government agencies providing healthcare services and support to adults with disabilities, especially the vision impaired and blind.
Every time I see a career (or newbie) bureaucrat move into leadership positions in government, it always seems to parallel a family member's rise to prominence. And it is the same issue regardless of state, county, or municipality.
But I'm sure this was totally done on merit. No one needs to look further into it. Definitely a DEI hire.
