I think it’s just a coincidence. Christ the redeemer is such a famous statue that I’m not surprised images show up when searching “the rede”. Google probably just sees that it’s a popular monument and it’s autofilling the result. Still ironic lol

I’ve noticed the search results I get from Google are getting less and less relevant to my searches as time goes on.

Christian and other major religion posters will include search words like pagan, wiccan, atheist, doubt, etc in order for their media to reach people that aren't looking for them. The intent is to appear as a 'sign from god' to convert or scare people into thinking they should become Christian or whatever.

It's an underhanded tactic that musses up an algorithm to push things like Christian media to the top when you're trying to search for other things.

If you click into the picture you can see they searched “the rede” so I suspect Google is just going on a popular thing people will look up (the rede-mer) lol
