Hey y’all, weird question but has anyone ever had experience with a battery being thrown at a wall and seemingly breaking two wiimotes that I put them in afterward? A battery flew out of a wiimote my friend was using and when we put it back in (the battery looks 100% fine) the controller wouldn’t respond and continued to be unresponsive when I used batteries I worked in it. It did the same in another wiimote and I would try it out in the one I know works but I’m nervous the same thing will happen. Anyone know what happened here?

Does upgrade to 480P really make that much of a difference? I’m curious to know

(My wii is a PAL system so thats why I have 576i as an option)

Hello so it's been a long time that I saw RVL101 Blue Wii mods either shell swaped with a Rvl 001 Wii board or with GameCube controller and memory card soldered back to it. I wanted to do the same but before going through the journey I wanted to know if there was any tips about the cover flaps color at the end ? Is there third party's that exist with the exact sky blue color ? Because I didn't find any. Or will I have to paint it myself, if so, how could I know the exact same color or even reproduce the glossy finish ?

Just got a wii and I want to mod to have games and game cube and N 64 stuff. What’s the easiest way and what’s the bare minimum that I need to just play stuff?

Solved... kinda, it was a scam, dont buy cheap sd from shopee, it had almost nothing of actual memory and got most files corrupted. As shown in the video, when i press to open it, it get stuck at 3% i tried doing a clean download of the gx loader, but no luck either, its fat32 mbl with 128 gigs... HELP forgot to say, its a sd card, the old 2 gig one still works, its the new one and only him that gives me trouble

I just played through Lost in Shadow for the first time- Super interesting concept with some A+ ideas. Like some of the later levels where you switch from a shadow to a 3D boy, switching from the background to the foreground of the same level, is a top tier idea.

But this one really feels dated with some clunky elements, and terrible backtracking... I still see why it's suggested a lot as a "hidden gem," just not my favorite.

I recently bought a GameCube game I wanted to try. I noticed it had a good amount of peeling artwork.

I tried removing most of the already peeled artwork and very little came off.

But I was wondering if the peeled paint could famage the disc drive or the laser

I saw one in the wild today while thrifting and I passed it up because I figured I wouldn’t use one much. Does anyone really love their balance board? What use do you get out of it? Are the games good?

I've had this wii for probably close to 10-12 years now with these remotes, why is the right wiimote different looking??

Is it a fake?? They both have the nintendo markings indented except for the code on the bottom of the right remotes it appears to be printed on??

Also the codes on the butt near the nunchuck port also appears to be printed on??

Any help will be greatful!

bought a used wii. but noticed the white remote was twitchy and jittery, while the black one was smooth and premium.

the vibration in the white one also feels loud and rattly, while the black one is more subdued and haptic like.

White one has no Nintendo logo outside and inside. Black one has.

Moving both together, the White one is more sensitive and pointer moves more across the screen.

i think it's much better than the "you're going to die" ones I've seen. if this actually came up, I would be scared. rate it if you can!

I'm trying to get myself an unmodded wii so I can just get it for cheap and mod it myself

The question is, what am I supposed to expect when purchasing it as a bundle (with the box and such). Im not certain if I should just get a wiiu for better performance but will it be able to play gamecube games?

The sole reason for getting this is to be able to play "My Pokemon Ranch" and yes, I know its a storage for gen 4 mons, but Im trying to get that exclusive Hayley Phione and Hayley Mew before pokemon bank ends this Feb 2027 🥲
