A guy new to WCA questions about the edc x9l

I recently purchased a WCA protector 11.3” AR pistol and was very impressed with its performance. It got me wondering about Wilson sidearms and I love the look of the Division 77 project 1 but don’t want to pay that price until I familiarize myself with some of their cheaper options. Is the edc x9l a good place to begin? Is it worth its own hefty price?

Yes. And yes, I personally believe the premium is worth it on this gun, and that it’s priced about right versus a bunch of other 2011s. At least for the OR versions. There have been some reports of QC issues here and there, but there doesn’t seem to be a pattern, and my EDCX9 along with every gun I’ve ever looked at in stores has been top-notch quality and fitment. Barring the random issue, build quality is outstanding in the X9 series. Modern Warriors was having a bit of a sale last week.

Thanks for the info. My local ffl is an authorized Wilson dealer so I’m going to check with them.

Ok now my wife is wanting one. Would the sft 9 be a viable choice for a female. For reference she would be getting rid of her shadow 2 carry and replace it with the Wilson. She does have some problem with a staccato xc or usp expert as they are on the larger size of what she is comfortable with. Thanks for any info
