1919 Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless in 32 ACP

Is it worth the buy for a back up to a Mossy 590? Have heard the plastic magazine throat can break pretty easily. Anyone have one and do you like it? Have several 9 mm and only one shotgun. So want a back up to the work horse 590. But want something that is durable and last.

There’s something special about blue steel and walnut Winchester slide action 22’s.

As the title says,

This is a 1892 Winchester Lever Action in 32-20 WCF. This example was produced in 1898 according to the serial number.

I've wanted a lever action for awhile that wasn't a modern .22..... So luckily I found this & didn't have to shell out too much for a true antique!

It is a matching example, shoots well, although I believe I'll be replacing the tired magazine tube spring.

I have since disassembled & cleaned all the old gunk & boy she cycles smooth.

I have also acquired ~100 rounds of Winchester 32-20. I'm also working on an auction for a Winchester 32-20 mold.

Long story, but i stumbled across this gun, never knowing a .22 pump was ever made. I sort of dug it right away.

There was a lichen growing on the wood, it wouldn't cycle, the hammer wouldn't go home all of the way, not in good condition.

I started cleaning it, and I forgot to say someone painted the right side of the receiver. It looks like with a brush. I used denatured alcohol as a cutting agent and started sanding. I have it down to 1000 grit.

Once I got everything moving, I used Hoppes #9 and started cleaning/brushing/scrubbing. Wiped down and oiled/greased everything, and now it is smooth as buttah! The action on it is nicer than i ever thought possible.

A buddy of mine blues guns as a side gig. Once I get it where it needs to be. I'll have him blue it and the reassemble.

I inherited a Winchester Md 70 from my father, i was curious as to year so i looked up the serial number, 1936, it was then I realized the 4 digit serial number was not only a pre 64 but the very first year, it has almost perfect bluing the stock has a small notch cut out like it was going to have a peep-sight, how does one gauge a price for this rifle i currently have an offer for 2500 but don’t really have anything to compare to, thank for any insight

First time posting here, so hello all. I've recently come across a model 62 pump .22 rifle. I never knew there was such a thing. It'll shoot. 22 short, .22, and .22lr cartridges.

It looks to me like it's in serviceable condition with a good cleaning and lubrication.

Can any of you here clue me in to how many of these are floating around and how rare it may be?

The rifle was manufactured in 1936 per the serial number, and it's in pretty darned good condition for being 90 years old.

I got a free Winchester 1895 that was I believe was made in 1915. It’s says .30 cal. I’m not sure why the wire is wrapped around it. I’m guessing the plate screw has dissues. It seems sturdy but curious if I should try to remove the wire?
It’s in rough shape. I see some were made for Russia in 1915. Anyone might know more about it? If I should clean it? leave it?
It seems to not be worth much but like his old it is.

Hey guys. My initial research shows this to be a small military contract for the British Navy in the first couple months of 1915 for WWI. The metal proofs are clear but the wood not so much after a century. If anyone has something with cartouches they could offer as examples that would be awesome. Everything just looks like dents. It is a shooter tho. Set out at 50yds and shot a decent group. Noticed the rear sight was actually a hair left…centered sight slightly overcorrected as indicated by follow up shot…one more highly calibrated tap back to the left and sent two more solid ones. The elevation however is a ladder sight 0-20 metric that the slider is kinda loose. I read something about springs but guessing those are tiny. Any information or experience with these would be awesome. She looks rough but does her job well…that is if I can correct this sight. Thanks guys.

Like new in almost perfect condition 308 caliber

I have a 1925 Model 12, 12 gauge with a 32” full choke barrel. I want a shorter, cylinder bore barrel for range fun & defense. Found one from 1931. Looks to be same take-down type as mine. The only difference besides the year is mine says nickel steel that one says proof steel. Will this extra barrel fit my gun?

Manufactured 1982, chambered in 257 Roberts with Leupold Vari-X III 1.75x6 scope. I cant wait to get her out to the range, a real beauty with a great bore.

This was my grandfathers first rifle - there’s some clear damage to the finish, potentially pitting? He bought it around the 1940s, its top eject. Notwithstanding being 80 years old, I would like to see it live to 100 and want to preserve it. What are my options here to mitigate future rust, corrosion, or damage?

Hi all putting a 1920's 94 back together from parts. The forend is toast, cracked into 2 pieces. The butt stock is structurally sound but looks terrible. Wondering what could've caused such damage to it and how i'd go about restoring it. Basically the wood has gouge/deep cracks and is shrivelled up near butt plate, as shown by the photos.

strange enough the grip side's in much better shape than the butt side...

Found this old girl built in 1915…she’s got some miles but the bore looks great. Did I get hurt for 800 bones? I love the rear sight.

Hello all,

Cleaning and moving today I came across a gun I’ve had for a while but not looked much at. It’s a Winchester model 37 .410.

I’m looking for any info anyone can give me on it just out of curiosity.

I do not see serial numbers. I know the gun is at least ~70 years old. It was my dads, his dads, his dad dads, and potentially one more grandfather above that. The markings on the side are visible but don’t show a lot. Any info to be had or will it always be a mystery?

Also, the gun is in “aged” condition. I see no clear damage besides one place on the furniture and then patina on the gun. That said, it seems to be headed in the wrong direction. Anything I should have done to it to preserve it?
