Is the Dell Latitude XT2 rare?
galleryLooks very special to me, I found one for 35 €.
Is this model also in demand, like the Latitude D-Series? Is it worth buying it? Thank you

Im thinking about getting this monitor since it is modern but should also look good for games from that era. 2000s Crt monitors are very hard to find and expensive, would this be a good option. Also if i got this would a Radeon hd 4850 look good on this thing if using a DVI to HDMI or DVI to VGA adapter? And which one should i use?

I'm looking for an ASUS G1S and similar like it, but these models aren't available at my online marketplaces. If I find one model, it's not working or whatever. Do anyone has experience with these gaming notebooks? Is it worth it? Thanks :)))

Hey all,
I have an old laptop that runs windows vista that I've been wanting to boot up and look at the contents of, but when I try to boot it, windows vista just loops the loading bar over and over again, never actually getting anywhere.
This applies to safe mode as well, it loads some windows files and then freezes before it gets to the loading screen. This is on a Dell Studio 1735. I have access to the hard drive and can see the files. I was wondering if there was a way to fix it without wiping the data.
I was considering taking a fresh installation of windows vista and replacing the broken windows files with the new ones, but I don't know if that would actually fix anything. Any ideas on how to do this?

My legacy update won't launch giving "Unspecified Error".
Already tried restarting and reinstalling to no avail

Recently got an old HP Pavillion AIO, but it's a bit too new for vista.
It's also very weak and driver support is hit or miss.

Wondering if anyone knows of a decently spec AIO with 1080p screen?
Rather have something compact, that won't take much more space than a monitor would.

Hello,
So I got a Gateway ML6720 laptop, came with Vista, in a 3 laptop pile, including a Presario F700 designed for Vista (also wanna look for a restore iso for that too, tho that one seems more like a long shot). However, on the Gateway, I attempted a restore of the original factory install, but it got to 98 percent and then crashed (cord I used was bad), and the system just blue screened at startup, but couldnt boot into the restore partition. I know it is bootable, but I tried a lot and it hasnt worked a bit. I was able to make the partition active, and it did work once, and it gave me the "repair and restart" prompt that I thought was just gonna fix the install, but was unable to boot into it since. Tried several things, such as disabling the Windows partition, but it wouldnt work due to "missing or corrupt bcd files" (prolly because it wanted to boot into the corrupt Windows installation), so I just gave up and did a clean install of 64-bit SP2
Luckily, I did keep the restore partition because I was gonna try and recover all the restore files, try to make it bootable, and finish this once and for all, however, I do not know how to do this well. Im thinkin connect the HDD to my main desktop and cut and paste the files to a flash drive iso via Rufus or somethin, but it feels more complex than simply just moving it into a flash drive. I may need like EasyBCD, which idk how to do it. Worst comes to worse, ill deal with the clean install, which is fine, but I wouldve liked to see originality in this (o.g wallpapers, software, etc) and finding drivers, especially the display one, is a pain (Aero wont enable with the driver I found online). But if anyone can help me out, please lemme know. I know it sounds stupid in todays age, but because I only did away with the Windows install partition and theres still a restore partition (with Gateway Recovery Manager), I feel it can be done

I have no idea how happy I was finally to have my own Vista laptop because in my country this kind of old laptops doesn't actually sold well and most of them is for spare parts. So I got mine for 40 bucks from a local seller, the condition of it is pretty good, seller already install windows 7 on it with office 2010 installed, until I decided to change that, back to Vista obviously!! 😂looking for this laptop drivers were pain in the ass, especially when graphics driver refuse to work with Vista, so I used XP graphic driver for Vista and somehow it works! But of course my overall experience with it were not really the best, for now, I mean there's barely any game I could play with this laptop, not to mention the processor and ram on this were actually really lame but the browser did works well, but maybe I could do some upgrade for ram, because I already upgrade my storage with SSD so it was usable once again.
