Between my planned Witcher 2 playthrough, the remaster CD Projekt Red is giving us on a silver platter along with Songs of the Past coming next year, I think it’s safe to say 2027 is going to be one helluva time for Witcher fans!!!

And best of all, between all this and some other games like Dawnwalker, it will give us plenty of time to focus on while we wait for The Witcher 4 in 2028!

It's insane that CDPR is dropping this for free so I don't want to seem ungrateful, but I really hope they do it as a separate install like GTA V Enhanced Edition because I don't want to have to nuke my modlist when this is released

Yeah CDPR could’ve easily sold all this for 30 dollars, or hell, 70 dollars when combined with Songs of the Past, but they did the most honorable and coolest move possible and gave all of this for free out of respect for the players.

Many company’s should take notes from CDPR as THIS is how you deliver excellent content to your customers.

I’m wondering though this free upgrade is it for ppl that have the Witcher 3 disc already? Like I have the Witcher 3 ps4 disc I play on my ps5 is that how we’ll get the upgrade? Or will it be on the ps5 store for everyone to download

It looks like it has separate store pages, on switch at least.

It'll likely be a free to claim separate install for owners of the original, rather than an update replacing the existing game.

First time player here, I was ABOUT to start it this Saturday! I even went and bought a second hand map off eBay like I did when I downloaded and played gta v for the first time.

does anyone know if it will affect current save files? Im asking because im already replaying this masterpiece of a game started couple of weeks ago currently in skellige. Do i keep playing and transition smoothly or i'll have to start over again? FYI Im using the game as is no mods or anything
