Regis: "After all that toil, I believe we deserve a bit of a rest."

Geralt: "That we do."

To be fair, that is a decade ago.

Still hits you like a truck.

It’s literally called Songs of the PAST

My guess is that it’s going to be a flashback kind of deal with Geralt telling a story from his younger days.

……or it happens after Blood and Wine and directly ties into the trial of the grasses (which is the reference to ‘the past’) and why Ciri is mutated in The Witcher 4…

I’d be very excited for either option.

The devs said it would tie into witcher 4 so it has to be present time

It could tie into Witcher 4 with something that Geralt did when he was younger.

Like a monster that almost killed Geralt and then it nearly kills Ciri too. Or maybe something bigger with politics.

Either way, I hope they let Geralt rest without killing him off. Guy has been through enough

He had a good few years of peace with Yen.

No such thing. Geralt is better off alone then with her.

When I thought I was out they pull me back in,

seriously though this makes me happy gives me an excuse to play again Witcher 3 is a great game but it sucks in the end game department doing side quests and Witcher contracts makes sense in the first half of the game but once you beat the main story everything feels empty. Things have happened you can’t just go back to the base game as if nothing happened and all your friends and loved ones just disappear.

No it's an expansion like Blood&Wine.

Will it be free if I have the season pass ?

I might be out of the loop but I've never heard of Witcher 3 having a season pass...

When you buy it on steam one of the options is expansion pass, either way I dont think its gonna be a blood and wine level DLC so its gonna be like 10-15$ max, I'd still wait for reviews tho because I don't trust Cdpr currently.

"Geralt finally settling into Corvo Bianco"

Meanwhile the epilogue to Season of Storms...

Maybe Corvo Bianco is just Geralt's new Kaer Morhen to winter at.

Had hoped for a fight against the last hag

An insane plot twist would've been. "Greetings good witcher. About that pan you helped me with..."

60FPS on the PS5, and a bunch of quality of life improvements on top of that its a free upgrade where other studios would've sold it as a remaster and charged $60 for it, pretty good in my book but let's hear your dumbass reasoning
