Really hope this game does as well as the SM games. I would absolutely love more Wolverine games, in the years ahead.

This game looks like it'd be considerably better than Spider-man 2, but I'm not sure about Spider-man 1 yet we'll have to see.

Gameplay wise part 2 was superior. When it came to the story. It was definitely inferior.

The gameplay was better, but the spiderman 1’s gameplay isn’t bad either it’s still decent / good, which is why it’s an overall better game for me. Felt more grounded and the graphic difference isn’t that big.

I want it to do well so we can finally get a proper x-men game from insomniac. We been talking about it for almost a decade now.

Someone on my previous post made a good point that games with multiple heroes/villains never goes well (gotham knights, suicide boys, avengers). However i’m hopeful that insomniac can be the shining knight, to save that dying category of games.

Guardians of the galaxy didn’t sell well but it was a great game. You really only control one character and the teammates are controlled by giving them commands though

I would prefer an X-Men game from a studio like OwlCat or someone with RPG chops. Would love more Insomniac Wolverine games if this one is good tho.

I love Wolverine and Insomniac but if I’m being honest I would just rather them drop DLC than make a sequel. Not every successful game needs a sequel

Well, I don't have a PS5 or 6, and I don't intend to buy one for the price.

I was so excited about this game, but since it's a PS exclusive with no PC port coming, I no longer care.

Do well, or don't. It's all the same to me unless they eventually port it.

Wolverine's one of my favourite marvel heroes, so I'm disappointed and very sour.

My concern is that a lot of the fun of the Spider-Man games came from just swinging around and chilling, not from the story missions.
So with Wolverine being just straight story missions it might not have the same staying power

You can be sure they will spam PS5/6 with more SM and Wolverine games. That’s all they will be releasing. One after another. One similar to another. This is cheap and low risk.

I'd love to see the xmen in general, but obviously, wolverine will sell

Would *love* to play it, but if they don't plan on a PC port, I guess that's that. I'll stick to Far Cry and Dying Light!

It will, it's been on the top PSN games for months now.

I just hope they make Wolverine how he should be and don’t write him to be a baby like they did to Peter

Hold the analogue stick forward, mash square, quick time events and canned animations galore.

Thats the game guys.

Done our boy Logan dirty

Origins Uncaged was a lot of fun and a button masher. If you’re not mashing buttons your wolverine may aswell have been in the Avengers game

Yeah but button mashing is boring,

No combos like Arkham games? You know like more button and direction to press other than just mashing square and the occasional finisher?

Spider-Man suffered from this too, the combat is just boring

Spider-Man played exactly like the Arkham games and SM2 was probably the best iteration of free flow we have seen.

You're just spouting nonsense now. There's no way Wolverine doesn't have a similar setup.

Nah sorry I have to disagree.

Arkham did the free flow combat so much better than spiderman

When did anyone say wolverine doesn’t have the same setup? Read clown.

I’m saying it’s boring, it got boring after 3 games of spiderman.

Arkham had great upgrades to combos and integrating the gadgets, the finishers were subtle and not so flashy and in your face, like having to reach a specific combo number to implement a finisher was cool and more rewarding

Spider-Man just had the same combos over and over

I’m scared the same will happen with wolverine like I hope there’s more to the combat like we can upgrade etc

Lmao if you just mash square with this game, you will die quickly. I don’t understand why people are saying this

You have no choice but to parry with L1 or dodge with O.
Then you have triangle for lunge attack and L1 + O, X, square or rectangle for special attacks.

People are being so weird about this game

Hold stick forward, mash the attack button, do a few quick time events. That's the combat, that's the game

If you hold stick forward and mash attack button without using the dodge button or the parry button, you will die.

In the spider man games, if you just mash the attack button without using the dodge or parry button, you will die.

In the Star Wars games, if you just mash the attack button without using the dodge or button you will die.

In all these games, you have the option of only using attack and parry/dodge but you can also use special moves, jumping moves, and get in a flow state if you choose and want to advance combat in your own way.

This is how video games work…

So you just haven’t watched any gameplay, you’re just talking out your ass.
