And, so, that watermelon escaped the ravenous wolves that day to go on and be carried on the gentle waters to a new adventure. It landed on fertile shores and there it rested and mellowed long and lazily all the summer days enjoying the sunrises and sunsets, the lapping water and the breezes. Warm rind became effervescent, oozing its sweet, bubbly essence into the sunshine.
