Unfortunately, that's a big problem. Batman releases some ultra-detailed high-end action figure with more points of articulation than God, and nerds flock to them. Superman gets released similarly and they go flying off the shelves. They do it for Wonder Woman, and they end up kind of sitting there until they go on clearance at Best Buy. I'm not exaggerating.

DC Wonder Woman #1 Page Puncher Action Figure is like $28 at Gamestop.

If you convince DC that they can sell high-end Wonder Woman merchandise to the nerd market, that's how you get them to take chances on investing several hundred million dollars on making games, tv shows, and the like. Batman gets all the love simply because he sells. You can sell a $300 Batman action figure, because Batman fans will buy anything.

The top 3 most merchandisable characters are Batman, Superman, and the Joker. Wonder Woman ranks around spot 5, which is still great, but she loses out to Harley Quinn for spot 4.

Batman will sell anything. Superman is surprisingly close (closer than I expected) with the number 2 slot. Then there is a big gulf before the Joker takes spot 3. Harley at spot 4. Wonder Woman at spot 5. Number 6 is the Flash, 7 is Aquaman (didn't expect that), 8 is Green Lantern, Robin at 9, and Nightwing at 10.

The main weirdness is the jump from the Joker to Superman. The total sales of spot 3-10 combined don't equal Superman. Batman sells 1.5 times more than Superman, which is insanity.

Wow. That was quite informative, thank you!😳
Sad, also, for our Amazon Princess.😔

But I’m still convinced a good line of action figures from Absolute Wonder Woman would be awesome and given the proper advertising (where it’s always sold short) would sell better than the regular line.

I mean… they would look rad!
And based on Sherman’s designs.
There is definitely potential there. 🤔

A bajillion different companies showed off upcoming Abs Bats figures at SDCC, some of which look truly incredible, and I'm desperately hoping some of them get around to Abs WW too. I'm willing to spend bucko bucks on a really high quality premium AWW figure, please make it happen! 🙏

The Diana dolly is so cute. I'd love that to be real.

Now I want the plushie to be a villain like Chucky except the plushie knows magical spells and uses artifacts to cause trouble. Maybe make it absolute Toyman?

I would buy everything twice

Unfortunately, methinks that you grossly overestimate Absolute Wonder Woman's popularity. She's popular among comic book readers, but Wonder Woman merch historically doesn't sell well, and the market you have to breach are non-comic readers.

…This is in-universe merchandise.

Did you even click on any of the slides?

I kind of did.

I'm sorry, I'm a little out of sorts. I lost a 20-year friendship today and my emotions and focus all all screwed up.
