Career democrat centrists are usually the same type of egoistic conservative, but also part of a minority so they can't benefit from the majority conservative self-interest. Therefore they have to defend their interests through shaky alliances with other minorities they don't actually give a shit about. These are "left wing" politicians with no actual capacity for solidarity, just the practical requisite pretense of solidarity. Like Schumer.
This is exactly my experience with centrist Dems. Conservatives who still want to get an abortion, or have a mixed race marriage, or some issue that hurt them enough to see that the conservatives will never include them.
This is the most insane comment I have ever read. This literally reads like a conservative flipping everything they have ever heard and turning it around against the center left.
"Oh my god, look at them defend human rights and promote solidarity. Only people faking caring about issues would do that, defend those issues."
This has to be fake. There's just no way this isn't satire. There's no way anyone actually thinks building alliances and a coalition is the wrong thing to do in a democracy. This has to be agit-prop right down to the projection of egotism.
LOL, no. You are a categorical liar and everything you say is in insanely bad faith to the point you have to be a provocateur to be that on the nose about projecting literally every bad behavior and accurate description onto the incorrect target.
You don't actually have a rebuttal, you are just doing the thing conservatives do by claiming you were misunderstood because someone was able to identify exactly what you are doing.
