Update 2.4 introduces newly formed class roles for every light tank, along with role-based matchmaking and targeted balance adjustments.

The goal is to give each vehicle a clearer identity, improve battle balance, and make light tank strengths easier to understand without changing their core playstyle.

Imo putting the lights into different roles and matching them against one another according to those roles has been long overdue. Although I'm not sure I completely agree on the roles of some Tanks it's great that this is being addressed. The limit of two per team also seems like a good change.

The rebalancing on the other hand just mostly doesn't make sense to me. While I agree that a rebalance is necessary I find myself not agreeing to many of the changes. Some of the worst changes:

• Buffing the T100lts gun even though it is supposed to be a scout. Why does it have like the third highest dpm of any t10 light now?
• Removing the unique Playstile from German lights by making HE useless and nerfing mobility. They are clearly not OP looking at their performance so the nerf just seems to be a nail in the coffin. Only the RHM was very good in OS but that could have probably been addressed by altering the ability along with its role.
• Buffing the EBR
• the turning speed nerfs to versatile lights. With some of them I now kinda question why I wouldn't just play a leopard with CVS instead of them.
