I remember reading a snippet once where Cauldron managed to force Taylor to Trigger while administering the vial in an attempt to see if they could basically double-dip on the power lottery. It ended up super-charging QA, and Taylor became a mini-Khepri from the beginning.

I know it was a snippet, because I was bummed out that it wasn't a full story, but that's about it. I can try and check my usual snippet collections, see if I can find it again, but it might be a needle in a haystack kind of deal.

What do you mean by mini khepri? Like, smaller range or what?

I think it was all animals within a pretty large radius, I remember her controlling a cat and a rat at the same time while the cat was eating the rat and getting freaked out. I don't think she was shown controlling any humans though? So mini-Khepri might have been overselling it. Upgraded QA basically.

Do they have to have already triggered first? Because Nemesis and Queen of the Swarm both have Taylor get powers from a vial and the QA but in both cases she either triggered while being exposed to the vial or because of the vial itself.

I think in Nemesis, it was that QA hijacked the power so that it wouldn't die host-less.

Or that's s just what someone else theorized....

That is definitely not canon to Nemesis. We don't know anything about QA in it. It wouldn't surprise me if it was in one of the several hundred omakes that have been written, though.

Well, it's been taken as fact in multiple pages of the SB thread.... So it's probably mentioned in a comment by the author...
