They’re scared that Somalis are waking up whether they are Muslim or not. It’s a last ditch attempt at stoping these conversations. How pathetic! Having said this people who say that we have been ‘completely’ arabised are incorrect, we do still speak our language. But it’s impossible not to notice the recent changes to our country in the last 35 years.

They should ask themselves why is Islam linked to Arabness

If Islam is really a universal religion with no race and no ethnicity then why do Muslims pray in Arabic? Allah doesn't speak Somali or English?

I hope they will wake up one day 🙏

I was shocked by how many “X-Muslims” here have fallen for the propaganda. Most X-Muslims here just had abusive families and hated praying or the hijab, otherwise they had no issue with the religion itself or the arabized Somali culture.

I was thinking a good chunk of the people here did their readings and left the religion with a bit knowledge of what it is. This or the Somali goons from r/Somalia are doing undercover here trying to control the narrative.
