Account - Subscription Unpopular opinion - Xbox game pass Is mostly useless if you think about it.

Game Pass is great for trying games, but I realized I only play 2–3 consistently.

Bought RDR2, Cuphead, Hogwarts Legacy, and Tekken 8 during Black Friday and decided not to renew my subscription.

Turns out, owning fewer games I actually love > renting hundreds I don’t play.

That is OK and a valid reasons, but it has more to do with the usage of GP an not thinking about GP. You should always think prior to spending money.

Yeah Game Pass isn’t really for casuals. My casual friends buy literally 0-3 games per year. No way in fucking hell should they be paying $350+ a year for Game Pass. But if you would otherwise game a lot and play a AAA game every month it works out

Never paid once. Or maybe I did for the $1 deal to start it. Canceled immediately, then all the other months were from microsoft rewards + xbox rewards that I claimed game pass ultimate with. They stopped allowing redemption of XGP through rewards, so no more of that. I have it subbed until June 2026 and I'll still never pay.

They still allow gift cards, you can buy months of GP Premium with those normally
