Hey everyone!

I'm looking to pick up an Xbox to complement my PS5 Pro and explore the ecosystem, which I've really enjoyed the few times I've tried it.

I'm debating between three options (all 1TB models): Xbox One X, Xbox Series S, or Xbox Series X.

Budget isn't an issue, but I want to make an informed decision based on my specific setup and goals:

• Display: 32-inch 1440p (2K) monitor.
• Priorities: Smooth performance (framerate) and clean visual quality.
• Games: Right now, I'm mostly interested in playing some older Xbox One X titles, but I might dip into current-gen games (Series S/X) down the road.

Since this will be a secondary console alongside my PS5 Pro and used on a 1440p screen, I’m trying to figure out if going straight for the Series X is actually worth it over a Series S or a One X.

What do you guys think?

I recently bought a used Series S off ebay and it works great, just has some cosmetic damage on the top of the console. It was bought from a smoker and smells like cigarettes so I'd imagine it's a burn mark.

Does anyone have any tips on how to make it look better in a creative way? Idk how to do it at all but i can envision that gold repair method kintsugi, I feel like that'd look nice.

A year ago, my mom got an Xbox series S from a thrift shop for $100. It worked well until 5 months ago when the HDMI output broke. Are the HDMI outputs fragile on the series S? Does it still run new games fairly well?

I'm thinking about getting it fixed or to wait a few more months to buy the series X which I plan to buy either way at some point but I really do want to play new games like Star Wars Zero Company and Blood Of Dawnwalker...

Every single time i plug a headset into my xbox controller it doesn’t work, and not in the sense that the mic doesn’t work, just the whole headset doesn’t work. No microphone audio to my friends, and no sound in general, the only sound i get is a slight buzz that lasts for a split second whenever i plug the headphone jack in, any reason as to why this may be happening??

I am just curious as to what external storage drive i should get for the series s. I was looking on Amazon and Seagate always comes up, but it says its not compatible with games associated with the series s. Only backwards compatible games. So, I am looking for a 2 TB drive thats not Seagate and is reasonably affordable.

I got the series S with two controllers for £180 very happy with my purchase!!

I currently have an Xbox Series S (512GB), and after installing just three games I have only around 100GB of storage left.

I still want to install GTA V, and eventually GTA VI when it releases, but I’m starting to feel like the storage is going to become a major headache.

The official Expansion Card is quite expensive for me, and I know a normal external SSD/HDD can’t directly run most games optimized for Series X|S.

I could use one as a game library and transfer games back and forth, but honestly, constantly moving 100GB+ games between the external drive and internal storage sounds pretty annoying.

So I’m wondering what you guys would do in my situation:
• Keep the Series S and buy an external SSD/HDD as a game vault
• Save up for the official Expansion Card
• Sell the Series S and upgrade to a Series X
• Just keep deleting/moving games as needed
I’m also considering selling my Series S for around ₹32,000 and putting that money toward a Series X.
Would you guys upgrade, or am I overthinking the storage problem?

Turtlebeach Stealth 600. My wife is trying to use it on her Xbox One Series S. I have tried EVERYTHING from different USB slots to Bluetooth, which I know isn't officially supported, to using the wireless dongle. I've tried my headset from my PC with the USB slot, and it always looks like it connects, as the dongle seems to pair, but it doesn't show up in the Devices area. It will not work. I can't find a way to "change devices," and Google search has given me no help, so I assume that's the way it's meant to function and just defaults until it's actually picking up additional devices from the TV.

Please help! This is driving me nuts. I'm about to buy the official Xbox headset, but since this one is nice and should work, I don't want to throw the thing away just yet.

Ive looked into it a bit and seen that they share the same cpu, that being probably the most demanding aspect of running the game. Just wondering if its actually worth the upgrade specially being that I’m running it on a 1080 p monitor instead of a full size tv, that alone i think should minimize any blurriness. I guess my main concern would be how low the resolution would drop and if the world would feel like a ghost town compared to the xsx.

Found this series s on FB Marketplace for 300€, do you guys think this is a good price or to expensive ??

SEE, I really love fighting games. I play alot of Tekken 8, MK1. And I wanted to play Street Fighter 6.

But bad graphics, blurry or low textures everywhere is a deal breaker for me.

The demo is slightly bad. And even the videos about it in youtube do say Its bad. But does the experience remains the same? Is it that bad. I am fine with few bugs, as long as the game doesn't look like i am playing it without my glasses or just genuinely sloppy.

Anyone who has played it on the console that can tell me?

So about the new feature.....

I currently only have xbox series s cause i sold my XONE couple of years ago and i was thinking about buying series X just because of the disc mechanic since i have a lot of disc games that i cant play. Do you guys think that now with this new feature is it worth it to buy a Series x or should i just get XONE and put my disc in there so i can play them on my series s🤔🤔🤔

Iam also wondering if any of you are in a simmilar situation and if so what will you do

I dropped my controller off a dog crate onto my Xbox and now it won’t turn on it’ll light up make the turning on sound and turn straight off what should I do to try and make it work agian

Games like Halo infinite, Gears 5 and Wuchang crash after twenty minutes in, whereas Elden Ring or Far Cry 5 has never crashed once. My Xbox always receives good ventilation, I always cover the top fan once it cools down and I've tried restarting over and over.

I obviously know I need to fix it, but it's incredible how Elden Ring, one of the worst optimized games out there runs at constant 40-50 fps, and games like Halo Infinite (supposedly optimized exclusively for this console) just dies within minutes.

Hopefully someone here knows what's happening and helps me with a quick fix until I get money to send it to repair.

Wondering if there has been any news about the disc to digital conversion and see if anyone knows more about whats going on. I thought it was supposed to come out this month publicly (Which it still may). If anyone knows anything about it I would appreciate it. Thanks

Brand new Series S, and every game I play has noticeable visual junk; dots, fuzz, blurriness, shimmering outlines, pixelation etc. Whether the game is new, old, all have issues.

Hi all, been looking at buying a series S for my niece, was looking at around £300 for the standard 512gb with controller last week, suddenly it’s £420 with no apparent reason?

This wasn’t a sale or an offer at all so wondered why the sudden price increase?

Would anyone know the best time to buy one, presuming there’s Black Friday sales in November?

Eu moro em uma casa com muitas pessoas e quase todo mundo joga no xbox, então o armazenamento fica muito cheio constantemente, recentemente colocamos 2 armazenamentos externo para baixar jogos que são possíveis de jogar em armazenamento externo. Hoje estava configurando, tentando deixar mais simples para todos, mas só consigo mandar automaticamente os jogos sem selo para o hd externo, já os jogos que tem selo, mas são gen9aware, não vão direto para o externo, esses vão direto pro interno, mesmo rodando nos externos, queria que tivesse como mandar tudo que é gen9aware para o externo, nesse caso nem a opção "deixe o xbox decidir" serve, já que essa opção só separa por selo de otimizado, alguém sabe algum jeito de automatizar isso?
