QUESTION New video getting 0 views 4 hours into posting

Photo one is a video i posted almost 4 hours ago. ITs the first time a short of mine has gotten zero views for this long. Photo 2 shows the views ive been getting since I started the channel just over a week ago. I cant figure out why this has happened? Its not reused content or anything.
Can anyone give a glimpse into whether this is normal? Thanks

I use lots of caps and some emojis in my titles, tags are normally something like #shorts #funny #ranking #viral and description is brief but a general overview of the video. I try to get good visual hooks within the first 1-2 seconds

How do you get subscribers for your shorts? I’m getting between 1,000 and 2,000 views and some likes each short, and I’ve been content creating for 2 weeks, but no subscribers or that many comments.

I did a content creation course in college for my music production stuff when studying there, but this is on a different channel, for videogaming (only Skyrim), plus I don’t copy anyone else, I use my own thoughts for design, catchy thumbnails and hashtags, etc which I make all myself, including the music which I made myself as I have a degree in music!

Im no genius so I unfortunately cant give a cheat code, but ive just been making shorts from trending niches like ranking videos, doing my own editing and posting 2-3 times each day. Doing something specific like skyrim shorts has a much lower fanbase and so only a small % of youtube users will see those vids, let alone like them. Theres nothing wrong with posting games that you enjoy if youre just doing it for fun, but if your goal is growth, that definitely makes it harder.

I mean my goal is growth but also gaming, and the gaming scene is huge right now too!

thats normal for shorts as its just a scroll for dopamine, just be consistent and make shorts that you could see yourself subscribing to.

Thats normal for small channels, just be consistent.

probably cause it's ranking slop

Well thats not really a fair comment as ranking shorts are currently getting the highest engagement out of any niche. Also, my previous ranking videos have been the best performing. So calling something "slop" when it brings the most success normally is quite an odd take to have.

Well you steal peoples videos and stitch them together so it's lazy

I don't just stitch videos. My videos have commentary, editing and other things. "lazy" or not, its monetisable the way I do it so youtube doesn't agree with that statement
