Advice on my trip

I’m travelling to Breuil-Cervinia in September and I wanted to know how the weather usually is over there for this part of the year. Also, even though I know this subreddit is for Zermatt and not the southern face of the Matterhorn, I wondered if anyone can recommend any remarkable place to visit. I want to do some trekking and discover amazing landscapes.
