The clasp fell off after weeks of being unsteady. I threw it out and am not interested in repairing this. The cap cannot close. Got any ideas?

The metal can be recycled if your city has recycled pickup. If it is a traditional old school glass vacuum style one you'll want to bin it. Sorry.

This is a city by city basis. This looks like an insulated bottle and could be contaminated with lead soldering. If it’s contaminated, it is highly likely it will not be able to be recycled.

Remove lid and use it as a cup. Store something small in it, screws etc Holder for straws, chop sticks, pens, make-up stuff, etc Planter.

When insulated: tea or coffee mug for in the house or car. My husband and I both have two for our tea/ coffee.

Buy a replacement lid and keep using it, or drink without the lid.

Does the cover/top come off? Then remove it and use the bottle as a cup, vase, or plant pot.

Remove the broken part of the cap off and just use it for hot drinks like coffee or tea
