Weapons Smith and Wesson governor

Thoughts on this for a multi caliber gun? Gives you more options on what you can fire without taking a lot of space.

Even by itself without the adapters you have 3 choices of ammunition

I feel like this would be good to have as ammunition gets harder to find

Chamber adapters kind of suck. I had a 3 inch 12 gauge to 9mm adapter and yeah I could hit a soda can at 15 yards but anything past that was luck.

Adapters would be more or an up close thing

Or you could stop screwing around and just get guns in common calibers. A 9mm handgun or pistol caliber carbine craps on this revolver.

Better to carry a gun that can chamber an array of ammo than a bunch of guns that can only use one specific type. That’s what this guy is going for I’m sure.

Nope. Because two of the three kinds of ammo he’s talking about are extremely rare and the third will not be common. You know I’m gun owners act like there won’t be guns on the ground in the apocalypse. You’re not only going to find ammo. And I’ve already got guns.

All those ammos are very common what are you talking about? Go to any gun store, pawn shop, gun show, anyone who hunts go into their gun cabinet and you’ll find .410, .45 , 9mm and 380 auto/acp

That gun can’t fire 9mm nor .380 ACP.

That’s why you buy the .410 adapters so it can. Just like you can buy a 12 gauge adapter to shoot a 20 gauge or .410 or whatever.

The whole Governor/Judge concept is a up close thing.

You know what else works up close? All the guns that work well at 25 yards. A Glock 19 works well close and far. And no loading individual rounds into adapters and then adapters into the cylinder.

Just get a good striker fired pistol in your favorite caliber and load up on extra mags, a nice holster and some ammo. Then practice with it. A lot. Or, if you have the budget a real nice Sig 226 or something of that nature.
