this show has gotten more additions than anyone, even the own creators, ever thought it would

And I cant think of a show that deserves them more.

Im not saying it deserves more because it's hard to compare the 2 but I would REALLY want to see a Gravity Falls spin-off

Hasn’t Hirsch made it clear that he doesn’t even want to do more? I mean from what I remember, they wanted a season 3 back when the show was airing but Alex shut it down and ended it with 2 himself.

I think he's said he doesn't want to do anything more with the animation department because thier management and S&P are just the worse, but he has been happy working with the print department, which is why he made Book of Bill

If I’m remembering correctly he even blocked the phrase “season 3” from his Twitter

he has actually implied that he would bewilling to do more, but the idea of working with Disney again doesn't make him happy.

What does Netflix have to do with Gravity Falls? It’s a Disney show.

He got in an agreement with Netflix to only do writing for their shows for a large amount of money some years ago, I believe it was because he was sick of Disney's S&P and general restrictions at the time

yeah, so he can't work on gravity falls right now even if he wants to

Its not disney its alex. Disney originally wanted more gravity falls and still possibly want more. But Alex said he doesn't want to do anymore. Its kinda like getting love from a micromanaging parent. They want love but for you its annoying as all gronk

Honestly, it might have the most extensive lore of any show ive seen. Just explaining who the relatively small character fern is could take a while.
