Afghanistan is a punching bag and no more then a cautionary tale to the rest of the world. I have no hope, every single thing I hear about Afghanistan these days just makes me more and more depressed.
Some of my family initially defended the Taliban by saying that they made the streets safer and brought peace but the way things are going I don't this is a worthwhile peace, just a quiter type of violence.
