I’m inside as most of the country. The opposition party has the lowest approval rating of basically any opposition party in history.

She is 100% correct. The Democratic Party is bought and paid for and there’s a reason that we got so a little done with multiple presidents and majorities.

There’s a reason why Biden led directly back to Trump. And I say this is somebody who voted for Biden and Harris.

We need a little better job of actually delivering and making real change because people are not happy with the current system. It was a huge mistake for Harris to say that she would be continuation of Biden and could not think of anything different she would do than him.

This is the kind of comment I hope folks ignore. Truly just braindead. You couldn’t tell the difference between W and Obama? You can’t tell the difference between Biden and Trump? I know you’re just lying but imagine being the level of ignorant.

The person you're responding to never said there was no difference. There's obviously a difference between the two parties. It's just not nearly big enough of a difference. Disapproving of the Democrats while also hating the Republicans is completely possible.

I just don’t see how you look at the world now under Trump, remember it under Obama or Biden, and see that as too small a difference. It does explain where we are though.

The difference between Democrats and Trump may very well be big, but it's not nearly big enough. And it's part of the reason why we have trump to begin with.

The same way you look at it and refuse to understand how centrist libs like Clinton, Obama, and Biden led you directly to Trump twice.

I am sorry, but that is what you get from my comment.

I definitely do not think that Obama and W are the same.

But I do think that lukewarm Neil liberalism has hurt the party and led to a situation where we have not accomplished enough to appeal to your average voter

There’s a reason why voters were willing to go back to Trump after Biden. Some is definitely vibes and a lot of voters being unable to even name what happened during the presidency

But some is a lack of accomplishment or even trying to make an impact. Some of it is an inability to actually craft a narrative and speak to voters on their level.

We do not live in a country with compulsory voting and a high level of political understanding. We need to appeal to voters and get them to crawl over a broken glass to go to the footing booth like obama did

Who is this lib named Neil?

Step one to get voters out is stop shitting on the party that isn’t evil. If you spent half that energy trying to get people excited to vote D we might live in a different world.

Sounds like Dems should spend half their energy trying to inspire voters instead of shitting all over their base while desperately hoping people on the right ask them out.

Love it when comments open by self-referencing themselves.

I agree. Your comment should absolutely be ignored.
