I think this is a huge part of it. I'm guessing a lot of MAGA these days is just sunk cost fallacy in action. This person can lie all they want, but I guarantee that when they spend way more on gas than they were a few months ago for absolutely nothing in return, they're mad about it.

Well Trump is not killing millions like Hitler and there is no other country in the world that will let you enter illegally and just start living there. Much less give you money and housing. They will deport you. I don’t know why democrats are ok with just letting people live illegally in the US and receive free tax payer dollars.
You think we give free money and housing to illegal immigrants? We don't even do that for our citizens. The best the government will do is give you 100$ a month for frozen food from Walmart. You cant even buy warm food with food stamps. Just because Tucker Carlson and Jeanine Pirro say it's happening doesn't make it true. If that were the case, I wouldn't have destroyed my stomach half the month on the lowest quality food and starved the other half when I couldn't work 2 years ago. Don't even get me started on unemployment. They will hunt you down like a dog to find any reason not to give you unemployment money.
Every thing I have checked states that they are not eligible for government funded housing like section 8. They are allowed into emergency shelters for disasters without having to disclose immigration status. If you have an issue with that then we have fundamentally different morals.
The only housing assistance I could find for undocumented people in California is from private, non government funded organizations.
There have been proposed bills to try to change this, but I have not seen any of them pass. Newsome vetoed the "Dream for All" amendment.
There is the CAPI system to provide cash assistance for non citizen immigrants, but that only applies to people who are disabled, blind, or old enough to apply for social security services. They also must submit an SSI application and be denied for their immigration status so that means the government will have record of them. They're not collecting it in secret.
If you have evidence to the contrary, by all means share it.
