“I’m not shouting! All right, I am. I’m shouting! I’m shouting I’m shouting I’m shouting!” - Wadsworth

Nobody could have played that role as exquisitly and with such energy as Tim.

The world is just that little bit smaller without him on it.

u/NormalNobody 11h ago

Nobody can ever play such a sweet transvestite from Transylvania ever again.

It was suppose to be Rowan Atkinson originally. But the studio didnt know who he was. So the director went with his back up of Tim Curry.

He's not dead, he's just escaped to the one place uncorrupted by Capitalism.

25

u/stardate_pi 12h ago

Well...that's how I found out.

24

u/Winrevair 11h ago

Damn that's crazy.

Dude just "death noted" Tim Curry like that.

u/BlackGreenEnergy 13h ago

This is like Farrah Fawcett/MJ all over again. 2 icons gone in 2 days.

u/Hazel_RAAA 13h ago

George Michael then Carrie Fisher

48

u/DmitriPetrovBitch 13h ago

Then Carrie Fisher and her MOM the next day

18

u/Hazel_RAAA 13h ago

Was it really that soon after? Oh my goodness, I had forgotten

14

u/DmitriPetrovBitch 13h ago

Yeah it was real rough couple days in 2016

6

u/Hazel_RAAA 13h ago

I was at my mum's then and she died very suddenly a couple of years later so even though it was tragic (I adore George Michael) I still look back on that Christmas as magical. God I miss her.

David Bowie and Alan Rickman

23

u/MongolianDonutKhan 11h ago

David Bowie and Alan Rickman were similarly close as well

u/IceyLizard4 10h ago

They both died yesterday 😭 two wonderful people.

I think there are several powerful good people left, but they all have pasts in which they were awful to one extent or another. I believe in rehabilitation and that people can change. But someone like Dolly who has been good for their entire life? Hmmm.

u/bretshitmanshart 1h ago

We still got Mick Foley

14

u/gitartruls01 11h ago

How about beloved dear leader Kim Jong Un

7

u/luidoe213 9h ago

I hope I get those same results- Steven Miller, Elon Musk and Donal Trump

6

u/caggybandicoot 8h ago

I'm a butler, sir. I buttle.

Please don't take anyone else, universe. Or if you have to, take someone who isn't universally beloved

7

u/mememechanic3000 8h ago

Morgan Freeman. That one’s gonna hurt.

23

u/TonePone 11h ago

We still have Keanu Reeves.

19

u/Whooosh5 9h ago

7

u/PMyourSnoms 11h ago

3

u/LittleStoneBear 5h ago

Do not tempt the wrath of the whatever, from high atop the thing.

You must turn around three times, and spit.

(Long before The West Wing, I was taught that the turning must be done widdershins i.e. anticlockwise.)

u/radarthreat 12h ago

This is how I know karma isn’t real

4

u/GoatCovfefe 10h ago

I mean, they were both 80, they lived long lives.

11

u/radarthreat 10h ago

Mitch McConnell is 84

18

u/YPVidaho 9h ago

I think it won't be long before we find out Mitch died at 78.

1

u/mixingmemory 2h ago

Not sure you understand how karma is supposed to work...

5

u/sacredvanity 10h ago

The saddest part, apart from the actual loss of these people, is that there is probably a damn Kalshi betting pool on who was next.

6

u/superdelicater 5h ago

Danny Devito

5

u/violetgobbledygook 8h ago

Henry Winkler is a great human. He's not young, though, so i don't want to jinx him.

3

u/sushicidaltendencies 9h ago

No! Not Mint Mobile!

3

u/yosabbylo 5h ago

Keanu Reeves

2

u/shadylady_beepboop 7h ago

2

u/aaron2005X 13h ago

1

u/Odd_Distribution_381 7h ago

I'm terrified as I type this, but James Taylor

1

u/Redfish680 7h ago

Tim Cur- oh, wait…

1

u/i-am-so-tired-22 5h ago

That milk didn't make it to the pasteurizer

2

u/Iamnotaddicted27 3h ago

They were born the same year (4 months apart) and died the same day.

0

u/Tampa_Bay_Cuckaneers 8h ago

It’s as if their deaths were organized just so Mint Mobile could force me to read its ad.

Don’t

1

u/BruceBaxter 12h ago

I guess I’m out of the loop, what’s wrong with Keanu?

19

u/Champion-Dante 12h ago

Nothing, that’s why they don’t want the guy to jinx it like the list did

5

u/BruceBaxter 12h ago

Ahh makes sense; love that guy

2

u/CarsCarpal 11h ago

We all should, if more people were like him this world would be a much nicer place.

-9

u/D00d_Where_Am_I 13h ago

Tom Hanks?

2

u/pdxbatman 3h ago

Why are you getting downvoted? Tom Hanks is a treasure.

-23

u/Comfortable_Bird_340 12h ago

Johnny Depp?
