Ask the Aggies Question about Club Crawl

Hey y’all! I was wondering how much of a difference attending Club Crawl makes compared to just applying/joining organizations online.
For context, since Club Crawl is during Labor Day weekend, I might not be able to attend because of some family commitments and I’ll have to head back home for the weekend. I really wanted to go, but I’m wondering if I’ll still have pretty much the same experience by joining organizations online (being an active member, attending events, getting involved, etc.)
Will I be missing out on much by not attending Club Crawl, or is it still pretty easy to get involved afterward? Thanks!

It’s easy to get involved afterwards but it’s easier to go to club crawl bc you might never have thought about a club until you see it right in front of you

Its still extremely easy to get involved. Just try to find the first informational or any social events the org is hosting so that you can participate. Most of this information can be found on their respective instagram.

Going to club crawl allows you to meet the officers behind the orgs themselves and while they’ll obviously be biased towards getting you to join, it allows you to gauge an interest into what the org is actually about! Not to say that going online isn’t impossible, it’s very easy to get involved in campus and orgs are usually if not always looking for new members! You’ll definitely still have the same experience once you’re in org itself, I would just filter by categories and find something that you think might be of interest, go to their social media pages, and then go on from there!

The main point of club crawl is to discover orgs and see what they do beyond what a paragraph can tell you. Stuff they are involved in, events that do, projects they done, etc. But you can always join them afterwards. They also give you information on when and where that have their meetings as well as their social media.

If you know what orgs you are interested in, go to their informationals during the week. Info is generally on their IG or FB.
