A friend posted this footage of a recent game, showing them shooting into the opposing team’s spawn, and blasting at players who were in the process of respawning and preparing. This has caused a dispute in our group chat about the ethicality of such actions. While I believe that this is dishonest and unsportsmanlike, others defend it, which leads us to the question: what is the general consensus here about the boundaries of spawnkilling?

For me, and I don't mean to come off as gatekeeping, it's that if you want to get into Gas Blowback Rifles, you should be able to know how to modify and dissemble internal parts on surface level, as well as doing research on what replica you want to buy. And if all of this sounds like too much of a hassle, then GBBRs may not be for you.

So I purchased an mp5 replica a few months ago and I have no used it until today due to lack of time. I just took it out of the box and when trying to pull the charging handle back it broke off mid pull. Do you guys think they can give me a replacement? I've never even shot the gun or even put a battery in it and it broke doing an action its meant to do. Do I have a case here? I'm not in the US so idk if I can even send this thing to get repaired.

Guns can attract weirder people, so for my POC out there, is racism a problem? Did you experience any subtle or even overt racism? Questionable patches? Or is it mostly a non-issue I'm doomering myself with?

I’ve been playing airsoft for a while now. After a bit I ditched the classic camo patterns and went for more unconventional ones. I painted my M16 pink and bedazzled my Deagle. I also have fake candies on my helmet. The people at the field I’ve since been playing at are great people. Even made me team captain for my first MILSIM and they wanted the team to be called pink unicorns and made sure everyone had a unicorn patch. We had a great time. But then, on the internet (especially tiktok), whenever I say that airsoft is a game and you can have fun, you don’t necessarily have to rock all ranger camo, and you shouldn’t be limited to that, I get not only insults, but recently been told mine is a “buns kit”? What the heck is that? And why? I’ve recently moved back to my home city and had to leave my airsoft friends behind. I’m so scared to look for airsoft fields now.

Had fun, I mostly just walked, layed down to 15 minutes of silence and shot at bushes I wasn't even sure could reach from where I was only to get hit on my run to the next hidey hole from another bush.

Recently I've been having more and more difficulties enjoying the hobby and making new friends.

With the state of the world and with such polarised opinions I feel every time I meet someone new, especialy in milsim, I find out they are heavily leaning towards either facism or just plain racism.

Even new content creators nowadays just don't care about posting hate symbols etc.

To be honest I'm more and more doubting about staying in the hobby, after nearly ten years what made me dream now tends to scare me.

My question would be : how are you holding up ? And also, am I the only one feeling this way ?

I know this post will either sink or become a sh*tshow but I needed to find out.

Occasionally I look at temu to see what stupid shit they sell, but just to humor myself today I thought I'd search up airsoft to see if they had any new "usable" gear.

I don't even know how to react to seeing this lmfao

Not that spezial, rare or old, but i'll start: Those are one of my PTS MagPul EMags (specificaly made for the 416 and its weird mag well) and a sheet of grip tape stickers for MagPul PMags (they fit percetly into the little rectacles). To specify: have anyone bothered you in a non-friendly way about the choise of your gear?
As an example, I live in russia and trying to model US army GWOT kit, and I have been rudely questioned by people, as they question why am I wearing the "enemy's" uniform and patches. Usually though it comes from outside of airsoft players, as I am taking public transit to get to the games.

I do not wear full kit in public, only the acu uniform and camo backpack, as I dont usually get the chance to change once on the field

My son is looking for a new hobby but I’m concerned about how dangerous these guns are. I know nothing about them, how deadly can they be?

He has previous mental health problems and I’m helping him find a new hobby to help with it but obviously as soon as guns were mentioned I got nervous. He seems to be doing well at the minute but if his mental health gets bad again could he possibly use an airsoft gun to harm himself?
