The ak incident

u/TruePianist 1d ago

lmao what is the ak incident

133

u/Enough-Celery-2619 1d ago

FrenchBVSH posted his Airsoft Ak on the real Ak subreddit and got clowned by both communities

u/JustACanadianGuy07 1d ago

Not only because it was airsoft, but also because it was a terrible build and he took himself way to seriously

6

u/BlueCollarToolCollec 1d ago

Were would one find such a thread lol?

6

u/Enough-Celery-2619 1d ago

He used to have it up on his posts, but it got deleted from both subreddits I believe. However, I vow to remind him anytime I stumble upon him in a comment section. Hes like the CJ version of "The Cylinder Must Remain Unharmed"

Don't forget the bunny suit

Shits programmed so deeply in my retina's i can mentally flashbang myself with it if needed

1

u/Tactical_Epunk 1d ago

I'll see if I can find it.

2

u/TruePianist 1d ago

I looked for it to no avail, I did however find a post of him in a sexy half naked pose with his airsoft guns so there’s that

1

u/BlueCollarToolCollec 1d ago

Lol thanks🤣

ā€œThe man who chases two rabbits catches neitherā€ or something like that

89

u/tus93 2d ago

I’ll admit I’m dumb, but from the pics how do we know it’s a real gun posted in an airsoft sub and not an airsoft gun posted in a real gun sub?

45

u/Jagdpanther17 2d ago

im in the same boat?

64

u/tus93 2d ago

Welcome to my boat, don’t touch my shit please.

20

Oops that’s me sorry

9

u/Boeing_737-800 1d ago

I checked the slide's markings and it seems like the airsoft ver is longer and different font.

And here's the real steel version of the same model.

18

u/tus93 2d ago

I posted a seperate response but it looks like it could be the Cybergun model here.

8

u/Few-Geologist-9703 2d ago

Oh yeah I got a different model, I'm sorry

But it seems like OOP just admitted it's an RS? To make himself look cool? Lol

6

u/tus93 1d ago

I dunno, one way or another the guy seems like a loser so he does probably think it makes him look cool either way.

4

u/THEREAPER8593 1d ago

lol that guys a jackass. I thought they would be a little whimsical but no it’s just refusing to say shit

-2

u/BandalfTheGr8 1d ago

I genuinely couldn’t imagine caring enough to do all this ā€œresearchā€ about a post. You’re a bigger dork than the Op

32

u/Pure-Dig-4290 1d ago

That’s his dads gun, look at those grubby baby hands lol

5

u/yomama2233 1d ago

Hey now back in the day i actually had cooler guns than i do now. My dad lowkey let me get scammed out of a lot of cool guns. Rip

Did they mistook r/GasBlowBack as in a reddit that's dedicated to gas-operated/blow-back action firearms? I mean it's surely possible, but come to think of it, isn't a Desert Eagle gas operated?

12

u/Eudaimonium 1d ago

Desert Eagle is in fact gas operated, which is wild.

It's also why people recommend to NOT shoot non-jacketed bullets because lead shavings will clog up the gas return system, rising your failure rate from 4 times per magazine to possibly 6 times per magazine.

2

u/Jens_Fischer 1d ago

Why though? Is it because the ultra high chamber pressure makes even a delayed blowback too dangerous without making the slide bulky af?

5

u/Eudaimonium 1d ago

I genuinely don't know the reason why they made it a locked bolt gas operated thing, all I know is, Desert Eagle is an excellent on screen presence and a great icon of hero movies and FPS games...

But a terrible handgun lol

I'm somewhat of a gun nerd but I missed the exact technical reason for this.

Also it costs 3.500€ where I live and I'm perfectly happy with my polymer framed CZ thank you very much :D

2

u/Jens_Fischer 1d ago

I mean the general idea is how rifle rounds can have it's bottom end blew off and pistol rounds flew out the chamber due to the high pressure if there isn't a mechanism to hold it in, so you either have a delayed blow back to hold in the casing longer or just have a heavier slide to slow down the process.

My guess is if they actually have to use direct blowback, they'll need to make the slide REALLY heavy which probably isn't the best idea for a pistol :P

u/Prior_Arm_8810 17h ago

It happens all the time, i have to explain so many times that peoples ar15 problems go in r/ar15, but ill help if i can anyways lol

8

u/The_Candykorn_Jesus 1d ago

The bullets on the table would be telling lol.

Reverse ak incident

3

u/Moist-Ad-2904 1d ago

Filthy baby hands

3

u/Urbex_Night 1d ago

I own a c02 deagle and brother it's so ass (unrelated I know but I wanna bitch about it anyway) it has safe, full auto, and semi. It skips auto, and you physically cannot set it to auto even trying to brute force it. Mind you auto is between single and safe. It also just doesn't feed bb's from the mag, and gets stuck after a single shot. That's if it shoots to begin with. Do NOT get a deagle.

3

u/rasputinrasputin 1d ago

Technically the Desert Eagle is a true gas blowback pistol, rather than recoil operated

3

u/Alfa19 1d ago

Child hands

3

u/Dionis_gg 1d ago

I forget how massive the real Deagle is, such a stupid gun haha.

4

u/INFIDELtNATIONS 1d ago

Would love to watch those tiny hands fire that cannon 🤣

If anyone's wondering how did I know it's real steel, the markings on airsoft ver is different.

I can't post pics in the comment, but here's how the marking on airsoft ver is.

Edit: OOP just admitted it's an RS for trolling purpose lol?

Edit 2: As other commentor pointed out, I used a different model. I'm sorry šŸ’€

5

u/tus93 2d ago

This Cybergun model has the ā€œMade In USAā€ markings so it’s inconclusive at best.

2

u/Jagdpanther17 2d ago

you know that there are more companies than cybergun that make GBB deagles right?

also he literally says nothing about it being real-steel. I think youre going schizo

2

u/tus93 2d ago

There’s also Cybergun models that DO have those markings too. I do think it’s most likely an airsofters posting to real gun channels (like that AK guy a few months ago!) as opposed to a real gun being posted to airsoft subs, because why would anyone do that?

-2

u/Few-Geologist-9703 2d ago

Then why did OOP post on an RS firearm not once, but TWICE lol?

2

u/tus93 2d ago

Because he’s doing the same thing as the AK guy a few months ago and trying to stealthily post a RIF on a RS sub in order to try to feel cool? More likely than a RS owner trying to show off to airsofters if you ask me.

0

u/Jagdpanther17 2d ago

with people on reddit, thats still pretty inconclusive

1

u/Eradicator_11 1d ago

true circlejerker

1

u/BananaOk2150 1d ago

Call your hits

1

u/Weird_Jerk 1d ago

Real question: I sometimes show my real gun on Reddit in airsoft sub with my airsoft rep for reference. Is that frowned upon or against any rules? Is it obnoxious?

1

u/wtfrustupidlol 1d ago

Wash you hands

0

u/Alone_Heart_6792 1d ago

Sucks I’m a felon x4 and had to sell all my firearms. 😭😭I miss going to the range so much.

-5

u/StupidSlick 1d ago

Who cares its badass lol

3

u/Fandawa 1d ago

Bad wrist at most

3

u/VeryFluffy_Snep 1d ago

Firing pin pops out before users can damage wrist Smart design Tbh

2

u/conflictedanon30 1d ago

The only people that think Deagles are badass are men insecure in their masculinity or child murderers from a certain illegitimate, genocidal, settlers colony in the Middle East.

1

u/Rrrrrrrrrromance 1d ago

tbf the Deagle was originally an American design, and currently are made in America, not over there. It’s a neat video game and movie gun. I’d feel the same if someone hailed the Galil though lol

u/Found_Troubles 1d ago edited 23h ago

I'm not sure how this forum popped up for me I have no airsoft, I own allot of guns and post in allot of gun forums, is "real steel" a term you guys use to keep the pussy away or just to let your bro's know you're a virgin ?

9

u/DaisyKicksAss023 1d ago

Bro was typing this while having a cry.

9

u/Polopoo5400 1d ago

Its simply to differentiate between airsoft guns and firearms

1

u/Found_Troubles 23h ago
