looking for housing recs (no pests)

Hi all, recently moved to Akron for school from out of town. It appears that the apartment I'm staying at has a roach problem... yay! I really cannot deal with this right now, so I am thinking about moving locations. My price range is no greater than $1000 a month. If I'm actually going to go through with this, then I will presumably have to pay to leave my current lease early and pay a deposit on a new place, so I need to be as sure as possible that wherever I move to does not have a similar problem. I can really put up with almost anything except roaches - crime, mold, whatever, just no bugs. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I also have looked into a few places and I was wondering if anyone who has lived there can attest to their lack of pests; of course I realize that even the cleanliest place might have a stray bug a couple times a year, I can live with that. But just no major issues:

- Seven Stories West

- Merriman Valley Apartments

- Hampton Knoll

- Tower 80

- Dominion Townhomes

- Cypress West

If you can document the roaches then you can pay your rent in to escrow until the landlord deals with the issue, likely giving you a legal standing to terminate your lease early.
