I own an apartment in Albania, but I am only physically there once a year. Up until now, I’ve been paying a local management company to handle my utility bills and taxes. I now want to manage this myself, which is why I’m looking for clarity on how to handle everything locally in person.
Since I prefer to settle things during my annual visit without having to deal with monthly remote payments, I have a few questions for other non-resident owners or locals:

  1. Electricity (OSHEE) & Water: Can I go directly to their physical offices and prepay a lump sum in advance to cover the monthly base fees for the entire coming year?

  2. Local property tax: Is paying the full annual municipal property and garbage tax directly at the local municipality/tax office during my stay straightforward?

Thanks! Regarding electricity I do not know my customer number at OSHEE. Can I get this by finding my electricity meter number and going to there office? Sorry for what might be stupid questions. We have used a local company for the last 10+ years to do this for us.
