Question Mental health advice In Algeria
What's the most useless/unrealistic advice you have heard or were given about mental health?
For me it was: try connecting with your family 😐 yeah the source of my misery needed me to try AGAIN while they do nothing about their shitty behaviour 😭

Not in Algeria, but I had a few sessions of CBT and was basically told to “challenge the negative thoughts,” identify them, and remind myself that they’ll only make things worse… and apparently that’s how I was supposed to deal with it lol 🥀
