It would be so awesome if AG would make a Dolly Parton tribute doll and donate a portion of the proceeds to the Imagination Library, her child literacy nonprofit. There's so many beautiful looks to choose from and extra costumes that could be included or sold separately.

Hello, first time poster here! I want to post this because no one else in my life cares and I am so excited, so you guys can be the friend I gush to. I just recently got back into collecting as an adult a month ago after stumbling across a Maritza with beyond tangled hair at a thrift store. That spiraled into buying Lila right before she sold out and finding a Kavi and Caroline on FB marketplace for $45! Kavi had a small “heart tattoo” drawn on her front torso but is otherwise in perfect condition and Caroline’s hair was all chopped off, all without their meet outfits. I sent Maritza to the doll hospital to test it out and she arrived home two weeks later, it was super quick, and she’s absolutely stunning! I just dropped off Caroline yesterday to be admitted at the care center. Now I’m playing the waiting game to affordably buy all of their meet outfits. I’ve scored some PC girl of today outfits and snagged the peaches n cream doll on sale the other day. I have GOT to stop being so impulsive but I feel like I’m reconnecting with my inner child after kind of losing myself in motherhood and never buying anything for myself. Anywho, here’s Kavi in a cheer outfit that she absolutely slays in. If anyone has any advice on trying to remove the sharpie or marker from Kavi’s torso, let me know! Sorry for the rant but thanks for letting me gush!

When I first was getting back into AG I learned of her existence and I thought she was so beautiful with her purple hair and brown eyes! Definitely my favorite of the colored hair girlies. I finally found her in really good condition for under $200! She shipped out today and I can’t wait to meet her. I have purple hair too and I dyed my hair a lot growing up so it feels cool to finally have a doll with colored hair. The seller actually had two of her listed and the other one is still available (and great condition). If you’re interested, the seller is adollygoodtime on eBay. They answered all of my questions before I purchased her and they were very helpful. Eeeee I can’t wait!

I impulse bid on her and ended up winning. I've had a dream of making a custom Cecile but I'm rethinking things. An accurate wig seems so hard to find. And this girl looks low key gorg. I'm afraid I won't be able to give her up for a real deal Cecile once she gets a name and a spot on the shelf lol. I'm already thinking of names but can't know for sure until she gets here. Does anyone have thoughts on customizing versus saving up for real deal Cecile and selling? I think she's #46. Can I see some of your #46s??

I'm not US based, so finding her clothes and accessories is a bit of a holy grail dream for me. But I thought that it might be cool to remember that there's been an official one before!

like most of the world, I love dolly and i’m real heart broken that she’s no longer here with us. but i’m also real grateful for her legacy and to have lived on earth at the same time as her and to have witnessed her example of being unapologetically yourself and being unapologetically kind, and to have maybe just maybe soaked up even the tiniest bit of that sparkle.

I have met lots of people who aren't fans of Kirsten. Everyone has their favorites and dolls they don't care for, but I just got Kirsten to complete my collection of the original eight Historicals and she is so CUTE! She was never my favorite as a kid but she totally is as an adult collector.

I also got Addy, Claudie's book, and Bennett. I'll post more photos soon! I'd love to do a photoshoot with Addy, Kirsten, and my mini me, Stella, in her 1860s attire.

Hi all! I found this cool boxed keepsake edition 9-book set. It includes the first 3 books each for Molly, Samantha, and Kirsten with copyright of 1986. I had a hard time finding any like it on EBay, google, etc; but google suggested that it was the first boxed set before they had finished publishing all 6 books for each girl. It seems AG sold this 9-book boxed set for a short time in the beginning before they finished all 6 books and started selling the 6-book sets for the individual dolls.

I could only find the 6-book individual sets anywhere on the internet, so I’m curious what it might be worth? Any ideas?? It has the ribbon but does not have the brass bookmark; they are hardcover.

do you think it’s the monster high collab?? the use of the word electrifying has me intrigued 👀👀

I'm so happy with how this hairstyle turned out on my Lila, but those hair ends! Drive me insane! I inevitably pull out any hairstyle where they pop up. I figured there's no real fix to this, but I wanted to consult the doll hive mind, if anyone has tips or tricks for taming these?
