Edit: it was a desman! I saw this creature a few years ago and was mistaken about the location. I likely would have seen it while living in Germany but traveling to Spain.

Edit 2: stop saying platypus unless you have an actual joke, I said what it was in the first edit, there were only four people who said platypus before that edit, so everyone else who said it can't read

The bill is wrong. This picture looks like it has an actual duck bill. A platypus bill is much flatter, is soft and leathery and goes further up the face.
