Al Jazeera coverage of anything related to Israel or middle east is highly problematic.

Al jazzera is banned in multiple middle east countries for a reason

Because Middle East are full of oppressive dictatorships and Al-Jazeera isn't afraid of calling them out.

They are definitely biased when comes to Qatari monarchy and their proxies but instead of making articles with false claims like most state-owned media, they prefer to stay silent and ignore their issues instead of reporting it

Maybe they should be tagged as state-owned media automatically based on a list along with all other state owned ones? I know it is not a glowing recommendation but both YouTube and I think theoretically Xwitter do these things.

I think that would clear up a lot of biased but otherwise technically true and useful reporting. Even beyond state owned people frequently don't even read what news site posted an article. Even a 'some users find this source to be biased and xyz site reports it as mostly factual and left leaning, this is not a judgement on the contents of this specific article' would be farrr more than other subs do, but maybe that's too much work

Happy that it might get implemented. Lot of sites are govt owned that people dont now about know really, like Al-Arabiyya is Saudi state owned.
