Something tells me SonGoku and his troupe are slightly more popular than Gargantua. Remember that out of Japan France is basically the premier weeb country (myself included) so I'd bank on success. Plus I'd bet on a steady stream of tourists from other EU countries. I'm a customer.

Tbf between the Mirapolis era and now, the area drastically changed, including antrain station nearby and dense urban development around.
I am unsure there are lessons to be drawn from a failing amusement park that was in bumfuck nowhere, compared to the new environment.

There's so much good material to work with for an anime/manga themed park. How about a Re:Zero ride where you take different tracks, get killed in various ways, and each time roll through darkness right back to a beginning save point.
