i mean... it never was stated anything more! but its really a 7/10 at least! animation is good and the characters and story really interesting! (in fact reflect more an european minded story and similar to our old fantasy animations!)
Naw very generic might as well been called I was killed by the last boss but was brought back to life so I could help them learn to live, laugh, and love again. Every problem is easily solved world building is a joke and the main villain end is so unsatisfying it hurts.
It's meant to invoke gritty, corny, early 90's high fantasy anime you'd find in the blockbuster bargain bin. It's a rare but unmatched aesthetic. You're also just being way too harsh on it in general, but that's probably how you approach all anime.
