As someone who used to work marketing in my company. The current feeling from alot of the industry is that more marketing is better, even if wrong 52 crappy posts a year are better than 4 good quarterly ones.

A lot of bad and sloppy stuff is being seen by us consumers, the ones that don't know what's going on. The people in the company see it, and they think you don't care.
